  • Just gliding across the screen. Nice work.

  • my name is also jason robillard :)

  • Great seeing you do the fast run. Very compact and while it doesn't have all the butt-kick of a shod world class sprinter, it's the best I've seen so far barefoot. I have a long way to go to get to that kind of pace! That looks like chip seal you're running on. Feet must really be built up.

  • Why don't you look like a kenyan runner? I don't get it.

  • This is among the most helpful BFR form videos I have seen. I learned a lot at the Grand Rapids workshop.

  • Your 6-8 minute pace you were fucken sprinting. More like 4 minute pace.

  • @467076 Hah, yeah right, he wishes. It looks like about a 6:30 pace, though I believe he is practically sprinting. Look at his very short stride and follow-through, and poor arm movement. His arms are moving to the side,. Look at the footstrike at the slower paces -- he lands with the foot well ahead of his center of mass, when it should be right below it. At slower paces his arms aren't moving at all, instead with a twisting of the shoulders and torso. I am not impressed.

  • IMO i think you should be lifting your foot, because in this video, it looks like you're pushing instead of lifting.

  • Weird barefoot running form to me. Not exactly pretty but it guess it works for you given your experience.

  • I love barefoot running! Go barefoot bohemians!

  • Are you rolling out to the sides? I do that too but I'm not sure if that is what I should be doing.

  • @bsg1206 It looks like he's landing on the front outerside of the foot, and rolling in to the arch. The arch is a natural shock absorber, and it makes sense to have the majority of the weight born by the unsupported arch.

  • Thank you for this. I've been trying to work on my barefooting form and this is very helpful.

  • Barefoot running rocks!! I enjoyed the slow motion breakdown of each pace. Thanks for posting!
