I am grateful that I still have a job (hours cut) in a place that is cutting back worker hours... despite the extra work-load put on all of us. I am grateful that I got hired before employers started openly rejecting all new applicants. I am grateful that I have a top-boss that actually talks to me. I am grateful that my workplace is generally positive despite its cancer in the opposite. My only complaint is my "middle-class" poverty that makes me beyond broke when I go to any doctor.

Things could be a whole lot worse. I'm grateful that the chronic complainers and angry cranks will be able to put things more into perspective, when they see just how bad things could get and not complain endlessly about anything possible. I'm grateful to my family and the support that they give me in my time of need. I'm grateful to my boss giving me more work and hours even though I didn't ask for it in these difficult times.
