The game is akin to most other fighting games, just with MS.

the story/arcade mode is centred around 7-9 levels, each level is a scenario taken from one of the many gundam universes ( eras ).

In each engagement you have a CPU MS as an ally, against 2 or more enemy MS.

the game will work no matter what version, go ebay this its cheap

there is absolutely no time where in having the game in english is a help, try out the jap options untill you know whats goin on then play.

You can play all Japanese psp games on American psp's they have no region codes same goes for blueray! Hope it helps! But by now I've seen some better japanese games!

@MrOneAzn - It has about 2-6 fighters from all different eras - each MS has a special "support" attack which will summon either tanks/planes/rockets each has a different effect.

Also you are limited in your MS to the most important personalities (MS) in the respective eras, ie ZAFT have no access to the YMF-01B (one of my fav dudes) UC has no access to Z'Gok etc...

also when you play story, you get to fight through some famous battles of the Gundam universe.

Not to sound rude, but why Strike Freedom? Exia is a good mobile suit as well. Just because Gundam 00 is new (relativly) to Gundam doesn't mean it should be shund.

Besides, Setsuna became my favorite pilot when I reliazed that he wasn't "enhaned" with anything.

Ex. Newtypes, the whole "Seed" thing, etc

I'm hoping to buy this game and then gundam rengou vs zaft for psp sometime soon. I really like the Seed Universe the most and UC so that's why I love these kind of games. There is another game that's exactly like this style for PSP called Gundam Battle Tactics that involves mostly the UC guys like Shiro and Amuro.

GvG for PSP was once for arcade, you can link up to 4 players to play but the previous generation had major lag issues. I believe 2 players might not lag as much and there probably is campaign mode that you can both play. NEXT is and will be the next generation in Gundam arcades coming out during March 2009. No info is released if it will be out for PSP or PS3 or w/e console you hope it to be out for.
