  • I have a small one. When I first got it, beautiful but now it's lost the flowers and the stems have grown out and are long and tendril like. Should I prune them or snip them so that it can grow in a uniform way? and will this stimulate flower buds to grow? thanks

  • When stems are long, it seems that your kalanchoe is placed continually in a shadow place. You can snip stems, but they will grow on. If you want stimulate flowers, then you must cover up your plant for 9-10 hours. It must run on up to 4 weeks and then, after 3-4 months, plant will get flowers. Hope I was helpful.

  • You are masterful! You are right. It was cold on my windowsill during the winter and I moved it away from the light to a sill that was not so cold but not enough light. I might invest in a plant light for the winter months. thank you so much
