  • When is this dvd going to released to purchase?

    I can't find it anywhere.

If any info please share so I can buy this dvd.

    Thanks!

  • I'lm sorry but i don't see how ufc is in any way an actually fighting system that you can use in real life, sure it depends on how you use it but mma and ufc is pure sport, not something you would actually use.

  • @CloudsBeyond Who gives a fuck. Take it to an actual forum if u wanna start shit. I'm sure more people will care about what ever it is your trying to prove instead on facebook.

  • Ya know what Bro. I dig that you got your own opinions but your acting like a TOTAL dickNO matter what art, discipline, science what have you ya gotta respect it. Btw Special Operations personnel are out here spending their own money on this. Theyve tested it trained it and THEY LIKE it. Not like pushing CGD or SCAR off on the troops. I've had fellow soldiers and other tell me that WHat I do is NO BS and I know it and besides BUBBA..... WHAT I WANNA KNOW IS WHO INVITED YOU??

  • How many Filipino Kali masters in UFC today??? How many using solely or that is their base art? Even in early UFC's how many Kali jokers entered and did anything (no weight classes , few rules)? Oh don't tell me Kali is so deadly & lethal you can't even use it in the Octagon LOL! No actually the truth is because it is BS!!!! Worse idiots teaching silly impractical knife defences from Kali that will get you hurt or killed in serious encounter.

  • @CloudsBeyond hahahaha do you think MMA and especially BBJ are going to save you on the street from a knife? MMA is a sport, where each person is completely aware of the others intentions, and one tries to both defend and attack. Its a game just like boxing or any other sport karate, tae kwondo etc. Kali as well as many other martial arts are designed for war scenarios, where your attacker is going for a kill shot, and they don't wait for a ref to say 'fight'...

  • @salsalover69laters then get a Kali fighter to go in UFC and beat them all using Filipino martial arts, I mean Kali is so deadly they could literally kill the best there with their unarmed stuff LOL! Krav Maga, etc deals ONLY with realistic self defence; would you recommend a person wanting to learn practical s.defence do KM or Kali? Kali with Hubud, fancy stick drills, nice coopperating partner drills, etc = all utter BS!

  • @CloudsBeyond If ufc and mma is so good then why won't they get into a knife fight with kali practioners in the philippines. krav maga doesn't work. As i've said before, you have never been in a real fight before. You probably fought little kids and declared you've fought people LOLZ. what a pussy.

  • @copypacercopypacer you said 'Krav Maga doesn't work' LOL! It is one of the most used systems in actual combat in the world - civilians, military, police, special forces etc have used it for real to know it works! Shows how ignorant you are. Do you think for e.g. Israeli army or special forces would bother to learn BS like Kali??? It would get them killed, not too mention take a long time.

  • @CloudsBeyond krav maga is pretty much useless because any non trained fighter is an even match for a krav maga practioner, The Issraelis are famous because of there marksmanship, not because of there fighting system. Your not going to use krav maga in a terrain like israel where is wide fucking open. You say i'm ignorant with krav maga, well your ignorant with FMA (filipino martial arts). also for a fact that kali and FMA is used in military.

  • @CloudsBeyond An Israeli Krav Mag expert once said to his students " when you're facing a Kali expert, throw a rock and then run like hell." Not to mention KM adapted Kali techniques as Filipino Kali masters went to Israel tto show off their style.

  • @copypacercopypacer (see previous post) Krav Maga people only practice practical stuff that works, they DO NOT have BS drills like Hubud, flashy twirling Escrima stick patterns, etc = they don't have time to waste on such BS it is irrelevant. All that time for e.g. on Kali Escrima sticks how many times in a real fight are you going to have a stick like that or similar weapon of that length available to you??? Then why waste all that time twirling sticks around doing flashy patterns?

  • pwede ma ngayu ug kampilan nimu noy?

  • Too much crab mentality insinuated in this thread of comments. I'm all about the motive to promote FMA to the world, but if fellow Pinoy Arnisadors and International FMA enthusiasts are gonna be busy with talking shit to each other over petty politics, then I'd rather maintain the same low profile I always kept. It's not my problem.

  • (see my previous post below) Kali / Armis De Mano defences empty hand against knives are some of the WORST I've seen absolute BS - yet Dan Inosanto, Burton Richardson, Paul Vunak, & many many others each this BS as practical self defence against knives. Kali people practice nice drills with cooperating opponents not against real especially random attacks.

  • @CloudsBeyond There's a plethora of Global Armed Forces and Law Enforcement that would dispute your claim.

  • @CloudsBeyond Well, where are you videos proving that you have something better. I have never trained with any FMA practitioner or instructor who claimed invicibility. On the contrary, I have been taught and continue to teach that if you fight against a blade, you will be cut, the only thing you can to (through proper application of principle and technique) is limit the lethality. I propose he analogy of boxing. Even the greatest boxers in the world get hit.

  • @CloudsBeyond We train so that we are prepared with some response to an attack. Under your logic, you would just have us lay down and die. Futhermore, in your course of bashing FMA, you have clearly demonstrated you inexperience. The purpose of our drills is to train coordination, reflex, spacial relations, and timing, all of which are necessary for fighting.

  • @CloudsBeyond you're a real fruitcake. Go back and jack off to your cousin's nude photos online.

  • @DanJuanDeSiga Brucle Lee thought Kali was BULLSHIT (I quote!) guess you know better. Any MMA fighter will destroy some Kali guyin a fight! You know why? The MMA gy trains harder, develops tools & attributes by working practical techniques against a real resisting opponent. The Kali joker does Hubud, Pecker Swordfighting, loads of BS twirling sticks drills, etc. You want to fighight & protect yourself, go do MMA, Krav Maga etc AVOID Kali itr contains too much Utter Bullshit!!!

  • @CloudsBeyond did you think, before you posted, obviously you did not. lying about bruce lee, shame on you, and (i quote) lol MMA, where did it originate? if i am not mistaken alot of notable ufc fighters, and president dana white refer to bruce lee as the godfather of mma, but why? because jkd is a mixture of various effective arts, thats why! thats what REAL mma represents, not egomania.

  • @DjRodimusPrimeXyZ actually he did say it, you can find numerous sources , here is one 'Bruce Lee A Warrior's Journey' John Little book (pg.229) , shows you are a complete ignoramus which I'm sure everyone guessed from the BS you write. It is well known amongst direct Bruce Lee students, Bruce took a rather dim view of Filipino martial arts & quite rightly so. Dan Inosanto might not tell you that for obvious reasons but others will.

  • what bruce lee said or w/e ur trying to misconstrue is not important. what is important the facts speak for themselves, kali is a functional art, thats what matters.im not gonna reply anymore i already made my point. maybe one day, you will realize no martial art is better than another.u never know you might like kali if u just give it a chance. :)

  • @DjRodimusPrimeXyZ I've done Kali, like Systema or similarf BS it is SHITE! My point is not that Kali does not have some practical stuff, more that it contains a heck of a lot of utter BS irrelevant to a real fight & it is a very very long winded system. How many great Kali guys in MMA? Go study Kali, American Kenpo Karate, Systema, etc just prepay your funeral should you use that shit in real life or death situation. Grow up you are acting like a total poopy pants!

  • @DjRodimusPrimeXyZ direct me to videos (post links here) if on youtube add watch part as you can't post full link of REAL unarmed fights with someone applying Kali? Show me some of American Kenpo, Systema, etc actually in a real fight being used. Something you can distinctly say that is Kali being applied for real. I could beat ANYONe who has only trained in Kali unarmed, they are all jokes if that is all they have trained in.

  • @CloudsBeyond sport mma guys do not practice harder than kali practitioners or any other martial art, the shaolin monks training is at the top of the list of hardcore training. watching bellator or ufc does not make anyone expert in mma, get your facts straight. you embarrass yourself by saying kali is just twirling of a stick, there is so much more to it, kali also has a grappling system, its called dumog. you shouldnt underestimate it, a stick with skill could one day save your life.

  • @DjRodimusPrimeXyZ MMA guys do train harder & smarter. Funny you should mention Shaolin Monks lol (don't forget Ninjas!) they like Kali practice a lot of forms, flashy BS, & impractical stuff in a very long winded system where there is always more patterns, secret techniques, etc to learn. Unarmed a good MMA fighter will kill a Kali, or Shaolin practitioner as they trainharder & only on practical techniques they can & do apply. In the words of Chef suck on my chocolate salty balls.

  • @CloudsBeyond, you convince yourself that mma guys train harder than anyone else you keep telling yourself that, because the reality is what you believe is all b.s. you mentioned "flashy" which proves yet again, you know little to nothing about martial arts, just like wushu, there is more to it than just aerobics. if u want to find out for yourself then enroll yourself in a kali class, prove to urself that your theory is indeed fact, if not then, ur just another mma fan boy trollin

  • @CloudsBeyond You obviously have never been in a fight before lolz. I have done many fighting systems from kenpo, silat, krav maga, bjj and sambo. None of them have shit on kali. Kali isn't the best martial art but it is something i have used most of the time in a really uneeded situation. Its just plain ass stupid to really thing a fighting system that it use by many militarys. Your just an igorant fuck. lolz

  • @copypacercopypacer actually have been in many. You are the ignorant one Kali is a HUGE system containing MUCH sheer BS and lots of flashy shit! That is not to say it does not have anything of value, if you want self defence go study Krav Maga, etc - if you want heaps of BS with some self d. value then Kali is for you! Hubud, flash stick drills, etc = wasting time on BS when you could be learning practical stuff. As Chef said Suck On My Chocoalte Salty Balls!

  • @CloudsBeyond You've been drinking too much Liquid Plumbr, and lay off the crack pipe and try not to talk so much when you got something like a big black dick in your mouth, you balka.

  • @DanJuanDeSiga I see no links to the videos requested below, so in the words of Chef - suck on my chocolate salty balls! Quit being a Complete Bell-End.

  • @CloudsBeyond Stay in the crab pot where you belong, you mule cock lover.

  • The clip showing Tabimina teaching Mumbakki is from an event held in Manila earlier this year, when Mumbakki brought the Russians over to learn from Lightning Scientific under Prof. Felipe Jocano, Jr., Kali De Leon, GM Tabimina and Yuli Romo. They were joined by Douglas Marcaida's contingent from New York, and Jun De Leon's group from Canada.

  • And for the record, Mumbakki did not shift to Balintawak. He is his own man. He enjoys learning from other systems and his only commitment these days is to the Alliance of the Filipino Combat Arts in the Russian Federation (Alyanz for short), with the task of promoting other FMA systems in Russia. Alyanz is not representing any particular system. With regard to your warning that Balintawak should be careful as to whom they befriend, it seems like an insinuation that Mumbakki is someone that can

  • @karambitmaster - Mumbakki started with Remy Presas, then Ernesto Presas, and for a brief period, took lessons with Tabimina. His fallout with PTK has allowed him to retconnect with his roots and, as the head of a new FMA alliance in Moscow, it is his job to promote other FMA systems. Training with these other systems is essential for him to acquire a working knowledge of the other systems that he plans to bring in to Russia. Before representing PTK in Russia, he was teaching a generic form of

  • @bisaiiya - This film glorifies the Visayans who happen to be Filipinos. Itvhasn't even come out yet, and you are too quick to judge and curse.

  • They do not even recognized the Visayan martial arts as Visayan martial arts, and the people and these great Visayan grand masters. all i here is filipino filipino filipino. shame on you motherfuckers!!! claiming the martial arts of my ancestors like its theirs and getting credits for it without even recognizing us.

  • @bisaiia

i'm a Filipino, Visayan blood, and a Filipino martial artist. Your comment is like the spaniards and other oppressive colonizers , you divide and conquer looking to serve your ego and not seiing the bigger picture of this film.... promoting Filipino culture, regardless what province or stye you represent. Stop hating.

  • @jA7 shut the phuck up!!! Fake ass Visayan fucking loser... fuck your filipino culture!!! im promoting my Visayan culture!!! go eat shyt and plant your roof loser ass filipino!!!!

  • @jA7 you madafuckers are the oppressive colonizers!!!! trying to oppress and colonize the Visayans!!!

  • @bisaiia

yes. awesome. you will carry your hate to the grave. and you've exposed your weakness by showing the crab mentality of inferiority. thnx pinoy nazi!

  • @jA7 you are the fucking ignorant you dont know history. The history you know is the history they taugth you in the philippines by people with crab mentality. you do not know the real Visayan History co z you are not Visayan.

  • @bisaiia brad relax ra. ma abot ranang atong well deserved na glory. nya mag sugod natag batik (tattoo) ani?

  • Its a Visayan Martial Art, The Visayan Grand Masters passed it down to the world coz they are great people. Now the other people from the philippines that are not Visayans are claiming it like its theirs, and taking credits for it.

  • @bisaiia So much anger. Many of the Visayan Grand Masters are included in this documentary and support it wholeheartedly. Their contribution and of the masters before them will certainly get the recognition they deserve. From other comments on different videos regarding Bladed Hand, there have been other Bisayans also showing the same hatred you have. I went to Cebu thinking there would be such hatred toward non-Bisayans but was greeted with open arms. Good people are everywhere.

  • @bisaiia mao gyud. kabalo kos imu gi bati. tan-awa ng Eskrimadors na dvd by a cebuano. baling nindota

  • kali is effective when it was created until this modern day times. Inside or outside of the ring and in real life danger. And nothing is added nor subtracted. It is still what it is. PROUD!

  • san b ko matututo n'yan?

  • @tejereroe26 Next year. Screenings will be held first then followed by VOD on the website (in development) then DVD.

  • FMA is thee most advanced weapon art. Combat proven.

  • How can we get hold of this documentary? Please update. Thanks.

  • @dockilat PTK, as a system is legit in combat effectiveness, as well as the different groups of Balintawak. GM Bobby is sharing his knowledge w/ Mumbakki and the documentary. Mumbakki himself is a very skilled FMA practitioner of several systems and styles with the ability to blend all of them into effective combat.

  • @dockilat According to an official post from Pekiti on several forums, Dan Foronda (Mumbaki) was expelled from Pekiti. So he didn't move to balintawak because balintawak is better. It's more of balintawak taking in someone kicked out of another system. Both balintawak and pekiti are good systems. balintawak should be more careful of who they befriend.

  • @karambitmaster You have no idea of the story WHY Mumbakki was "kicked out" of PTK. I know. You should be more careful of commenting on things you don't know.

  • You should be careful of commenting on something you don't know about regarding WHY PTK kicked him out.

  • @unclebraddah I never said I know what happened. I only read that he got kicked out of Pekiti.

my first comment here was only on someone saying that balintawak is better than pekiti, when it's obvious that foronda is only studying balintawak coz he was expelled from pekiti. as far as I know, both systems are pretty good.

  • @karambitmaster Mumbakki studying Balintawak cuz he's no longer w/ PTK is also not true. this is for the documentary w/ GM Bobby showing Mumba Balintawak style, Tabimina method.

  • your second comment says "balintawak should be more careful of who they befriend." if GM Nick Elizar and GM Bobby Tabimina have befriended him (and they know the story of Mumbakki's departure from PTK) who are you to say what Balintawak should do or not do?

  • plosophy is good but we need show some more action

  • I love Filipino culture and its martial arts; will definitely tweet this to spread even more word.

  • 1:24 KAMPILAN

  • Filipinos should take pride in the fact that their martial arts are perhaps the only surviving blade arts that are still viewed as legitimately combat effective even to this day.

Kenjutsu, European longswordsmanship, classical fencing and whatnot were very effective for their day, but today they survive in only modern sports and cultural traditions. FMAs blade work is probably the number one go-to source when it comes to training with edged weapons in a modern sense.

  • @TheGreaterGood80 Couldn't have said it better!!

  • @TheGreaterGood80 I appreciate your comment. I can personally say that it must be legitimately so since my dad and uncles are still alive to relate their encounters with dueling or engaging with it during WWII in their teens. There are so many accounts from others out there using their own family systems who take pride to pass it onto their children and share it with others.I guess this can also be said for Indonesian and Malayasian related systems as well. Peace bro!

  • when is this coming out?

  • PROUD TO BE CEBUANO THE ORIGIN OF FMA!!!!

  • @mrBullsheet panay man daw una ana..pero Bisaya ra gihapon..well illonggo..pero same ethnic identity

  • Looks awesome. Is this something can get my hands on here in the States? Proud to be an Arnisador. RIP GM Presas

  • @Deetroiter not yet released. select screenings tbd in the states.

  • Uh mai Gulay!!! kelan ba i-rerelease tong documovie na to? kinakate na ang palad ko shiiieeet!!! master Jay kelan ba? saan ba? meron ba nito release sa minnesota? dammit!!! lolz... sabik na namn akong mag unat ng Kali... gotta lose 7lbs that I gained this winter...Mabuhay ang Kali/Arnis/Eskrima!!!!

  • Proud be both a Filipino and an Arnisador. I've always found FMA to be extremely underrated in the public eye and as a martial art. I hope the bladed hand can help spread FMA a bit further and encourage people to take it up.

    Can't wait for it's release!

  • When and where is this coming out, Jay?

  • Im so proud !!!!!!!!!.....Superbly done, for the discriminating eyes.!

  • Well done, Jay!!!!

  • I cant wait to see it!!!

  • Asteeeeeeeeeeeeg
