@Gameshow2343 This is a collecter's edition that was released years ago for the FIRST Mass Effect game, The collecter's edition as you see contains 2 discs, One is the game itself and the other is Bonus Content. After they released Mass Effect one, the released Mass Effect Platinum Hits, which just contains the same 2 discs. PS3 Owners only have the advantage to play the Second Mass Effect Game, which is 2-discs long, The first game hasn't been released on PS3 just yet.

I like Collectors editions, but I hate the cardboard case/tin idea. My Gears of War is just like this. Look up Perfect Dark Zero CE. That is how to make a Collectors edition case, it really feels like it's worth the money.(even if the game itself wasn't)

umm see this is why people look down on the video game inustry. because of people like you. You'll never understand the potential of the Mass Effect franchise. Its one of the greatest games ever conceived and you cannot even begin to appreciate its story, the atmoshpere, the music this game beholds. @orozco831ful Personally, I think Halo is dull and hyped up too much, they dragged it out over 6 different games, Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars, Halo 3: ODST & Halo: Reach. with the same thing happening in most of the games (I have yet to play Halo: Reach, I heard it was the best one of the franchise) When I played the first three games I beat them in the matter of a day, & they gave me no intention to savor the gameplay. Mass Effect is the greatest Sci Fi story ever told, IMO.

Not very long at all if you stick to the main story only.

My suggestion: Do a BUNCH of sidequests, because you have ample chances of getting some achievement points.

PLUS: If you get to level 60, you will be very well prepared for Mass Effect 2 if you port your character to it.

That as long as EA ain't screwing things up like they're known for doing. Since EA bought the Mass Effect license (and/or BioWare) I'm very sceptic over ME2, it'll probably be a small expansion with most effort put into making it playable on the PlayStation 3 tools.

I sure hope Microsoft buys back the licenses, they would probably easen the nerves of every fan of the franschise.

I totally agree with you, Mass Effect 2 could have been one of the greatest games ever made. With Mass Effect 1 setting up Mass Effect 2 for such an epic adventure, etc. Imagine all the new planets with actual races and people instead of empty, barren wastelands that have recycled textures, models, and what not. The franchise HAD sooooo much potential.

Out of all people I just don't know why BioWare would sell out. It's extremely disappointing they were one of my fav studios.
