I had to have that sugary drink test last week & even though the drink says something nice like "fruit punch" flavor....it tastes NASTY! try to eat some toast or something before you go to your appointment, just don't drink anything with sugar in it or they'll make you come back another day to do the test! great video!
If you get an epidural you will have to get an IV, If you choose to go natural some hospitals will let you go without the IV, and if you get induced you will definitely need an IV. I think it's Awesome to just let the baby come on her own unless you have complications, being induced is not for healthy women and babies. Being induced increases your risk for C-section. letting your body birth your baby naturally is always the best way to go unless you have complications of course. Hope that helped
My goodness!! What gorgeous bows you've made! Your little girl is going to be so well accessorized. Please show us how you make the bows, they are really fabulous! xx
Aw, I can most definitely notice a difference in your belly from last week to this week! I understand where you're coming from with wanting to be induced to stay as far away from Christmas as possible... but realistically, once December hits, all birthdays in that month will feel mashed up with Christmas. I'm due December 3rd, so if he doesn't come any earlier, ill have to make it a point to really distinguish birthdays from Christmas'. I think you'll be in the same boat..
the reason they put in the IV is in case something goes wrong that can quickly administer drugs as the IV line is already in. Yes you will need and IV if you want an epidural, and really sweetie once it's in you wont even think about it. I don't think you should mess with your body, let the baby come when she supposed too. If you are really over due then by all means but if you and baby are healthy leave it up to nature. good luck sweetie.
I've been induced twice with both my sons. And I didn't have to have a c-section. But if u choose to be induced then yes u will have to get the iv. I think its pretty mandatory to have the iv unless u r doing a natural birth with no drugs. It's not that bad. It only hurts for a few seconds. But if it makes you feel any better, the iv hurts way more than the epidural!
getting induced definately ups the chances of a c section hun, i definately wouldnt suggest getting induced unless u really need to, i had to b induced just after my due date coz i had high blood pressure and they had to get her out...but it ended in emergancy c section....my body didnt cope with induction and it affected ella badly so they had to whip her out ( she was fine as soon as she was out by the way) but honestly let ur body do it if it can :)
I hate having my blood taken to. I always get pricked twice as much because they can never find my veins. And I think that if your planning on getting an epidural you have to get an IV. This is my second baby and be thankful for the small needles you get while your pregnant because the IV needle you get during labor is so much bigger. It took them like 5 trys to get that IV in me when I was having my son. I was so pissed.
I'm 25 weeks and I've the same thing happen to me a few times. My midwife just told me when ever it happens to stop what I'm doing and rest for a while.
You're so cute, I love your voice too..... Lord Bless you, thank you for sharing! ♥

Getting induce increases your chances of getting a C section. I wouldn't get induced unless you need to be.
