DAve does say Taxi in some live versions of the song. He very rarely sings this song the same way twice. Dave adlibs like anyone else during live peformances so he is correct in saying taxi.

I agree nothing beats the original but come on, you've gotta give props where it's due. Even if YOU could do better he's still bomb.
