Elder Nelson used the issue of global overpopulation to illustrate the juxtaposition of worldly wisdom against heavenly counsel. Many people of great influence attribute societal problems to having too many people presently living on earth. Conversely, the Lord has clearly spoken to the contrary: "For the earth is full, and there is enough and to spare" (Doctrine and Covenants 104:17).

Elder John A. Widtsoe believed that Joseph, as a "translator," would first have perceived thoughts and then would have attempted to reproduce those thoughts correctly "with every inflection of meaning, in the best words at his command. ... This makes it unavoidable that much of the translator himself remains in his translation" (Gospel Interpretations (1947)).

Once Joseph formed expressions that were sufficiently accurate, the English words would have appeared in his mind (or, as he saw it -- in the seer stone).

An estimated 1,000 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints performed in a cultural celebration at the church's Liahona College on Nov. 13.
The celebration was held in conjunction with President Uchtdorf's visit to Tonga. It took place on the rugby fields of the Liahona College campus, close to the Nuku'alofa Tonga Temple.

"Use the scriptures to bless the lives of your children," he said. "The Old Testament, New Testament, and Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ, all fit together like the constellations in the sky. The gospel of Jesus Christ is a true and valid navigation system to lead us back to our Heavenly Father."

Your children are a gift to you from Heaven," he said. "They will have their own lives, but your families will be blessed now and forever, as you stay faithful to the gospel of Jesus Christ."
President Uchtdorf encouraged the Tongan Mormons to read the scriptures as families.
Something we love to do when we visit Manti is to attend a temple session. There is a special spirit in these older temples, which were constructed at great sacrifice by the early pioneers.
The setting of the pageant is on a beautiful hillside just below the Manti Temple. There were 15,000 people in attendance the night we watched the pageant. It was a thrill to see this army of young men and women catch the vision of the story of the Restoration as they performed their parts with such enthusiasm and spirit.
If someone turns from these restored doctrines, where will he go to learn the true nature of God as taught in the grove of trees? Where will he go to find the doctrines of the premortal existence, baptism for the dead, and eternal marriage? And where will he go to find the sealing powers that can bind husbands and wives and children beyond the grave?
Well if god doesn't exsist there is no point in learning one particular set of beliefs as far as the matters you mentioned are concerned. There are many different sets of beleifs and there is no reason to believe you are more correct than anyone else. Maybe there is no premortal existence, maybe baptism for the dead is completely pointless. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, I don't think the book of mormon or your assertions meets this requirement.
You shouldn't pretend to do anything. You should acknowledge the fact that at this point in human history no one "knows" the truth. Different people believe diffrent things and until we have more evidence I feel we should be honest and say we don't know. I would say that any given religion I have come across has yet to paint a picture of reality that I would recognize as an accurate picture based on empirical evidence.
for this logic to work natives would have to have over the years been almost all mating with asians or people who are of asain decent, what are the odds of all natives mating with someone asain
I have never before seen a man take so long to say so little. In one full hour, he says nothing new and nothing of interest. Why was this even posted?
This video is a waste of space. Total waste of my time. Stupid jokes & no real info.

"Even if it's like school dress code, it's not always modest," Arian added. "If it is modest, you can enjoy yourself more. You don't have to worry."
"I think if you have any questions, it's not modest," Madison Arave said.

why? should I just pretend like I do NOT have the truth?

When many of Christs followers turned from Him, He asked His Apostles, Will ye also go away?
Peter then responded with an answer that should be engraved on every heart: To whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life (John 6:6668).

Native Americans are mostly of Asiatic descent, and others who have intermingled and procreated with those of Asiatic descent.
No argument there.

@nageljr Johnsson said after much shopping, she has found a dress for the upcoming Ninth Grade Night Dance but she'll be wearing a shawl over it.
"I haven't found one yet," said Jade Allridge. "We went to all the stores and nothing was even close to the school dress code."
