I agree with previous comment. Everybody should see all series. I saw it when I was young. Now I'm showing it to my sons. I'm convinced it helps to understand how weak we are and how much we can and must do to live in harmony with our wonderful planet.

@alfreud65 this planet is not wonderful at all, no species lives in harmony with all the other species on it and never did. Life on Earth has been nothing but a non-stop horror story. Only intelligence could create a harmonic environment not indifferent messy processes like evolution and natural selection. And we haven't even talked about natural disasters which would be unheard of on a planet without tectonic plates and a fucking out-of-control hydrosphere.

That the only other planets without a biosphere and with potential are even worse than Earth thanks to the fact that carbon based water dependent life is a pussy. However the lack of any kind of biosphere (I hope there is no life on Mars) is a must have if one tried to create a harmonic biosphere from scratch. Any goddamn microbe could screw the plan

Desde niño me encantaba ver toda la serie de Cosmos, ahora q la vuelvo a ver, ya q Carl no esta mas con nosotros, q cuando vuelvo a ver la serie, es como si el no estuviera muerto... Como el dijo, leer un libro viejo es leer los pensamientos de alguien que ya murio. Carl no está muerto, como el final, sigue su viaje a travez del Cosmos esperando a que nosotros lleguemos a las estrellas y nos volvamos a encontrar con el. Qué grandiosa y sublime obra maestra es esta serie y que grande su conductor. Carl Sagan fue y seguirá siendo un ejemplo a seguir. Sus sabias palabras me han sacado lágrimas de los ojos. Hoy casi 30 años después de su emisión original y su mensaje sigue más vigente que nunca. Nunca he visto otro programa de divulgación científica que haya sido tan entretenido, informativo, inspirador y conmovedor a la vez. Una joya que debería ser obligada en nuestros centros de estudio.

Thank you for uploading all of this series, KosmosLF. I have not seen it for almost 30 years but it still moves me as it did then. Sometimes to tears. Carl Sagan was a great human being with a great humanitarian vision. It is such a pity our political leaders fall so far short. I think he would be saddened by the state of the world today.
