Blake is super talented and not just a pretty girl, she deserved to win, however so did Leighton. Blake won because in the beginning, she was the first person people thought of when someone said "Gossip Girl" She was the main character, so everyone knew her better. I think Leighton is also really talented, and I actually like Blair more then Serena, but it's kind of low to say that Blake's just a pretty girl...

You know, I think Blake is actually a really good actress. If you think about it, Blair's character is so much...more, you know? There's almost more potential to it, because she has this very bad side but these redeeming qualities, too. Serena is gorgeous, and nice, and perfect, and Blake does a really good job playing that and still making it very interesting, even though she can't lash out. Blake also does a very convincing calm, stoic, perfect girl that you'd want to worship.

and I agree Leighton should have won the TCA. she's a MUCH better actress and blake is just herself on the show. kids just like the blond type.. although I think leighton is more pretty then blake!!!
