  • Beautiful houses!

  • Frank Lloyd wrights houses are creepy.

  • Frank Llyod Wright first made that idea from mincraft... that may explain all the pixel blocks..

  • FLW surely had some great designs, but unfortunaly many of his houses simply weren't useable for everyday living, even by many of his upscale clients.

Structurally, they also left something to be desired, with roof leaks being a common problem and the Ennis House as well as the other three textile blocks in LA are a prime example. Even the first owners of these houses already had severe leakage problems.

  • I have pictures of the Ennis House under construction and already the long retaining wall was bulging in certain places.

In regard to the video, the Hollyhock is not one of the four textile blocks, it's actually frame-stucco.

Also, the last textile block which is missing from the video is the Millard House, in Pasadena, a very beautiful house and also recently restored.

The four textile blocks in LA are Ennis, Storer, Freeman and Millard.

Nice video and music, thumbs up.

  • so grateful I got to see the Ennis House interior before the mudslide and closure.

  • I'm sorry you already told.

  • Fantastic, may I ask what is the beautiful music you choose ?

  • Beautiful, may I

  • Gorgeous...

  • Really fine video which caught the dramatic work of maestro F.L.W. I do believe that his apex in emotional terms, only has been reached throughout the L.A. landscape. He beautified the Hollywood Hills and the City.
