Love living in Thomasville. I grew up here and have seen everything in this video and more. You are missing Real Southern Charm if you have never visited Thomasville, Georgia ,aka "The Rose City."
Great place to visit, but unless you're retired, you don't want to live here. The recession had little impact here because it has always been like a recession in Thomasville. There are no good jobs here.
Thomasville is a pleasant surprise. Pebble Hill Plantation is a must visit, nice little shops downtown. Makes a nice weekend visit with a small town atmosphere (opposed to a tourist town).
