Scarowinds puts HHN and Knott's to shame. They actually make you wait in line and separate the people into small groups of 4-8 people at a time, so you don't see other people screaming ahead of you and the actors can focus completely on scaring your group. Plus, little known fact, the actors generally do a better job over at Scarowinds, too. Seriously, check it out if you have the chance.

@tmntsplinterdude The 'monsters' in Quarantine were Infected unlike REC in which they were possesed which you find out in REC2. The producers/director/crew on Quarantine didn't know they were supposed to be Possessed so the Quarantine Infected were somewhat Zombies. But the question is if you are an Infected (like a Disease) are you classified as a Zombie? :/

Not as good as the Halloween Horror Nights at the Universal, I went through the Dracula maze, it was long but very fast paced and loud! I kept hanging onto some guy I didn't even know because it was so scary. XD

This one wasn't that bad though. :)

the only problem with this, is they allow like a huggeeeeeee line to go in at a time, but at the haunted houses that i go into where im located they only allow like 5 people in at a time so that the actors scare you better :p

Its funny to read all these comments. The studios and amusement parks have access to the same equipment, props, lights and they have the job of conjuring scary things. Its the actors that make it work, if their hearts arent in it then there wasting their and your time.

ive seen cheaper and shorter horror mazes that could send groups of guys running out, or even guys leaving behind their girlfriends. and it only took one, ONE person/mascot to chase them out of the maze. If this was the real performance, i could compare it to a walk through a horror museum.

Most of the people who work in the Haunt do their sounds naturally, there was this one girl in the Alien maze who did this very awesome sound it was like a screeching sound from like a broken record scratch mixed with like a snarl... kinda indescribable but, that's the best way i can put it...
