Monterey Bay Aquarium - monterey bay aquarium DOT org - which has a ONE MILLION

gallon tank, similar to the one in this video, and A BUNCH of other fascinating exhibits,

as can be seen on their website.

I've been there a few times and am always blow away by things I see.

Monterey itself has many other very interesting attractions worth the visit,

to say the least.

There's a theory that all the continets were once joined together, look at how part of South America seems to fit into Africa.
