And to the right of the Monkeemobile (our left) is the Batmobile.....all famous and classic cars. Of these, give me K.I.T.T. any day of the week and I treat it better than the ass behind the wheel of the Monkeemobile.
The supercharger on the Monkeemobile actually functioned when the car was first built, but was replaced by a mock up after Mike Nesmith nearly wrecked the car (And Nearly killed himself), peeling out during shooting of one episode of the Monkees TV series.
