  • Sky... Guru is Gangstar dumass ha.

  • 9th Wonder is on another plane as Eminem as a producer, hands down.

  • Somebody please tell me what that second beat is called?

  • This reminds of Guru and Gang Starr, RIP Guru, hope u rockin with Big-L up there man.

  • Few that Knew !!! ... This remix is EPIC ! ... I'm posting this on 'Rise of the Planet of the Backpackerz' on FB.... NOW !

  • 18 dislikes...wtf....stupid people....

  • Where Can i by this Album?

  • @Mrprincejannisg It's a free mixtape(the 9th Wonder version, where this song is from) but he released it on CD with one more remix on it (2nd Childhood).

  • Hot!!!!!!!!

  • this was my favorite always. Sample is sick.

  • both beats are good i prefer the eminem beat and always have, but i didnt even know he produced it until today, and i heard this album back when it first came out

  • @anonymousQ45 thts the wackest beat ever produced.

  • @anonymousQ45 --the original cross beat is straight garbage...wtf dude...LOL

  • Nas just kills shit lyrically literally.. with ninth wonder Nas should have him produce something on his next album if he ever comes back..

  • classic,9th seemes to connect good with every legend rapper, phonte, skyzoo, nas, buckshot

  • Laughable

  • What sample did he use for this?

  • @liteskindream77 Its all his own beats man

  • this shit goes hard... this was supposed to be the origninal.. hope Nas and 9th wonder get together for a record

  • whoever says Em's version was better is fuckin retarded : /

  • @Sinz327 some retards dont know what to say.. Every fucken song with Eminem's name is great.. we dont need that shit in hip hop.. fuck Em he's a sellout..

  • @Sinz327 Yeah Personally I think Eminems version sucked complete ass.

  • @NeverMakeVideos lmao. "Eminem" and "good beat" shouldn't be used in the same sentence

  • @spideymayne Seriously Lol. Everyone Like this comment.

  • @spideymayne Listen to his first album man. Infinate is the national anthem of crackfiends

  • @Sinz327

it is a better beat, but it doesn't match what nas is talking about. so, em's beat fits what nas is talking about a lot better.

  • @Sinz327 it fits the song way more. this beat is too happy.

  • @youralcoholicdad44 haha word up,the eminem beat is more dramatic, this fits more with nas rhyme style

  • @Sinz327 just some dicksitters who support everything eminem does even the wack stuff he produce

  • @NellStalgya some people are close minded and in denial, they say ems fits the song but its garbage too simple like he made it in 10 minutes

  • @Sinz327 word up man ,9th put hes whole soul on hes instrumental

  • @Sinz327 no that beat is not garbage you need to learn that anything thats complex and great has simple elements and everything else is just ornamental. complexity does not mean great

  • gagagagagaga love this beat holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

  • 9th wonder > eminem

  • Perfection.

  • Ahhh dope Phyllis Hyman sample.. beautiful singer with tons of great fuel for the sampler

  • @cmfishskins I think the last 35 seconds is called Flow For Days

  • @outofmind6 I think the last 35 seconds is called Flow For Days

  • @lildnycecity yoo thank you very much fam, that beat goes too hard

  • NIce! love it..... Fuckin LOVE IT!

  • yo the beat nice, but doesn't fit the tone of the son. come on the beat is soulful and carefree, and nas is spitting on some serious shit. sorry em beat is better suited. the beat is nice, but it's wasted on a remix, instead of a needing artist.

  • Dam....9th is a beast!

  • Ironically, Eminem is a corny producer with weak beats...

  • this isnt even close to the original

  • @infearandfaiith it's the remix lol

  • Does anybody know the name of the last 35 seconds beat? It's bloody amazing!

  • @outofmind6 I would like to know this too--what is the name of the beat on the last 35 seconds?!

  • @bdoyle

Definitely agree, this album would have been an absolute classic with some better production. Some of the best lyricism i've heard from Nas brought down by some lackluster production

Eminem's beats are overblown and middling in my opinion I don't care for them either. If these remixes weren't censored it wouldn't even be close

  • nope!!

  • This shit is ill.

  • does anyone know the song for the last 35 seconds? cause that goes hard!

  • @xtreyscapex yoo man i be needin that shit too,im thinkin bout loopin it if there aint a oficcial version

  • as far as I'm concerned, 9th is the only way to really experience nas

  • @zeragnue unless you consider all of illmatic

  • i really pray to god that nas makes an album with premier and 9th on the production.....is there something i dont know why nas doesnt work with them?

  • Yep! Way better than the original. 9th Wonder...'nuff said!!!

  • Dope 9th Remix, one of my faves.

  • Eminem's beat for this song, and just about all the beats Nas used on the original version PALE in comparison to 9th Wonder's... Not even close in my opinion... particularly this song, Em's beat sucked, most of Em's beats are weak except for that renegade shit... again, this is in my own opinion. GOD BLESS HIP HOP

  • 9th in his prime aswell!!

  • this shit is raw....nas in his prime

  • the second beat is "mastermind"

  • Please ... Wich song is the First one .... The Soul Sound of the 70's =) I need this

  • this is the best remix off that album for sure.

  • i remember bumping this shit in 2004 , seems like ages ago now. damn all my peeps is married now with kids and shit i feel old.

  • I hate Eminem's original beat

  • haven't found one beat made by 9th that i didn't feel...this dude is pure genius, i bump gods stepson rather then the original album..

  • why is this shit censored?

  • @thettruest the only acapellas readily available were probably the censored ones. i heard a lotta nas remixes with the edited lyrics but it kinda annoys me a wee bit though

  • Beautiful Man of Mine by Phyllis Hyman

  • @jasondup5560 RIP Phyllis Hyman... 9th have a deep spirit

  • better than the original

  • Damn...this shit is addictive as hell. I like how 9th sped up the vocals to fit the track. So damn soulful man.

  • beat is deff sick. but the verse was written to em's style beat. so it don't sound right. someone should get on this beat tho

  • i never wanted to write this man but...9th wonder for me at least is number one

don't even come up with oh but premo oh but dilla oh but pete rock...they are all legends but 9th i mean....shit's ridiculous not 1 bad beat he made out there

  • @BigTiggaR Respect brah, 9th is definitely one of the greatest ever

  • If ya wanna listen THE real Song check rutube.ru! you can't stop us poorly sons of bitches youtube

  • FUCK U DAMN YOUTUBE

  • who ever thinks em's beat is better is on crack, this is like some illmatic shit, i always skip this track on god's son, but this i cant stop listening to

  • I CARRY THE CROSS!

  • this version is way better than Em version hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 9th and nas callabo needs to happen.

he sounds as natural here as he did over the beats on illmatic

  • this ain a wonder nas is the best

  • COOL TUNE !!!!!!!!!

  • still one of the best unreleased 9th beats...

  • 9th Wonder made this album an absolute classic imo.

  • the original beat sounds like a queef compared to this masterpiece. so. fucking. sick.

  • @badjonsson ahahahahaahahahahahah for real tho

  • what is the beat at the end?

  • @FuCkOnEr flow for dayz

  • Music like this gives me hope about the future of hip-hop. This track is straight BANGIN'!!! Hip-Hop is still alive! The shit might be on life support, nah-mean? But Hip-Hop is still breathin'.

  • @Viktor4506 good hip hop is mostly dead brother the 90's is where its at the 2000's have a few good things but mostly hip hop is done

  • i repeated this bout 10 timez already and im bout to repeat it again......addicted

  • no doubt, playa. This track is straight BANGIN'!!!

  • @Donald936 lol...same here

  • damn i forgot its 7min. so good i zoned out.

  • Way better then eM's r u gyz retarded? this shts sick

  • dis is a gud song put togethor nas is perfect for the cross instrumental 9th wonder is a god

  • lmao at the picture

  • @ThayCaLLMeSUPERMAN Hahaha it gets me everytime. I knew he could fruit loop but who new 9th was a PHOTOSHOP-er too?! Dude is all over the software game.

  • The 2nd part, the Warrior's Song Remix is better than the original tho.

  • I agree with yall alittle , this beat is SICK. but I like Em's version more, that beat is sick, its hard, I love that piano. I AM NOT dissing this beat at all tho, I just like the Em version more. The original Cross is not trash, dont call it that

  • Eminem's version was trash. This one should have been the official

  • thats exactly i said

  • this beat is so sick it made my neck crack lol

  • hmm... im confused.

  • wiicked beats!

  • I love 9th wonder but I gotta give Eminem his due,his track was better, this is not bad for a remix

  • i agree. there both really good, but Em's went harder

  • @kingsworld30 And that's the thing folks need to remember, 9th is working with accapella vocals here. It's not like he was able to build the song with Nas in the studio, so Em had an advantage. Even still, this is a dope remix and a complete 180 from the Eminem produced version. I'm digging it cuz i love the contrast. Em's version is probably slightly better, but i'm loving them both. Real nigga hip hop right here.

  • y has lil wayne gt mre views thn stuff like ths i dnt undastand y people listen 2 shit and dnt appreciate nas!

  • sick

  • yea beat is magnificent!!!!! 100 times betta than version's eminem

  • Like 15 times better than the original. Eminem's beats are terrible

  • 9TH Wonder > Eminem

  • lol

  • HOT.

NAS ON SOUL BEATS = THE TRUTH

  • I love this beat, but i gotta agree that it doesnt work that well with nas's lyrics and flow

  • Comment removed

  • i still like the original better...eminem made a good beat for that song...i dont think nas and 9th wonder go together...but thats just my opinion dont hate

  • definitely is better than the original.

doesnt give the same vibe though.

  • one of my top 10 songs of all time...9th invented the remixxxx!!!!! does anybody have that method man 9th wonder album????

  • i want di last one:)

  • anybody please..what´s the last song´s name??bless

  • Just an interlude. I got the beat though.

  • its called warrior song

  • warrior song

  • I like this better it sounds like a Stillmatic track like this.

  • Don't it though!

    Good stuff right here.

I wish it wasn't censored though...

  • this is doo doo compared to the original. and the vocals don't even match.

  • just stfu why you gotta fuckin hate this beat is amazing imo and you're a fucking retard if you're listening to something you don't like.. 9th is gee neways... hate what you can't be faggot

  • the cover of the cd in the vid pic is so scary the first time i saw it i freaked out!

  • i love the last 30 seconds that beats unreal

  • this is soooo ill

  • i ouldwo ays het mixre si tterbe

  • I use to have this album anyone know where I could cop it again?

I think this is the best track on the album

  • what never makes sense to me is why 9th wonder doesnt slow the beat down...he just speeds the vocals up which sounds quite stupid...good beat tho

  • u dont know shit bout production, dont talk shit bout 9th u cldnt make a beat like him

  • i wasnt hating on 9th wonder hes one of my favourite producers lol

  • Nas vocal does sound weird on the remix..

  • i strongle agree with nemesis700

the listening by little brother..BEST album of theirs, away from me and speed best songs from the album, i fell inlove with this song, the cross, better than the original one, 9th wonder is a genius!! yeah yeah a lot say he samples a lot, but thats basically what hip hop is about, just making the song unique in their own way is what really counts

  • True.......

    my favorite is lovin it

  • I give credit to people who actually create from scratch...it shouldn't be hard to understand why someone should appreciate that more.....but with that said, he finds very rare samples, and is good with blending, I mean he still is a beast. But I don't have him over Jay-D, or even Nicolay for that matter.

  • @JColeM7785 9 outta 10 producers who create from scratch are garbage. Hip hop producers aren't musicians...they're beatmakers. Most don't understand how to create melodies nor do most understand chord progression. That's why sampling is important. Knowing how to fiddle around on keys and programming a drum machine aint enough (Lil Jon, Polow da Don). Producers who sample are far better and have more interesting music. They may not sell more, but that's another topic.

  • @desertdetroiter my point isn't that there are wayyyy more producers who create. In fact, MOST sample....because its easier to steal a melody than to create one. My point was simply that those who create GOOD beats, and understand melodies have a much more obscure, and special skill.....thus they are more unique. Unique when good or talented....should equal "higher appreciation".

  • @JColeM7785 Most sample because they CAN'T create those melodies. You say "steal," and technically you're right, but this is hop hop...sampling isn't something separate from this genre, it's part of it. If a guy can grab a 2-5 second melody and chop it into something completely different, that's very respectable. I yearn for the days when Primo and Pete rock sampled 5 different records to make one song. LOL, real music fans love the research. The original artist gets new fans, and everyone wins.

  • @desertdetroiter ..difficult to listen to todays garbage, dont get me wrong the gods are still out there creating top notch productions, its just***the bar was set so high back then***...we(our generation) been analytical for 20+ years....back then originality was the #1 thought,NEVER TO BITE,to seperate yourself from the rest....the dumb deaf and blind will never understand...so many robots in this new world,it hurts my mind body and soul,.like the god said."TEACH THE CHILDREN,SAVE THE NATION"

  • @desertdetroiter a-fuckin-men - tho i equate sampling with recycling instead of stealing

  • @JColeM7785 people sample becuase it gives a better quality sound. and true sampling is easier if you make shitty beats but making a good, finely chopped up beat is a lot harder. Surprised to hear a J Cole fan look down on sampling considering he does it for a lot of his beats

  • @gaviotanip07 its harder to CREATE music....plain and simple. I'm not a fan of JCole whatsoever....my name is Jarred Cole.

  • @JColeM7785 rofl

  • @gaviotanip07 agree

  • @desertdetroiter i agree. i'm not h8n on how lil jon does his thing but i'm not normally into beats like that but a nice sample with a gr8 beat = pure ear candy to me

  • my favorite rapper on my favorite producers beat dont get no better than this

  • better than the eminem version

  • hands down...9th is a beast!

  • much better

  • sometimes 9th wonder knows exactly what he's doing with these remixes

    cross

    warrior's song

only ones really better than the original

the 2nd childhood is a lil better than primo's, but i could understand ppl disagreeing cuz i love the primo beat too

  • i like this more than the orginal

  • i agree

  • man love the beat. I heard this one before the original back in the day Weird.

  • is the beat from the last 30 seconds a third track off that album?? if so what is it ?

  • AMAAAAAZING

  • woah.. i made a beat that sounds like this.. but of course not as good as 9th's

  • Hell yeah 9th Wonder :)
