For some reason, the 3-D game play just sucks... the game play of this game legit in my opinion and many others opinions... really suck. those ones are just diehard fans that always wants their games being the same fucking thing over and over again, if the creator tries to improve the game changing something they'll get mad just because the game wasn't the way they wanted and will blindly hate it without even giving a chance to it...

MMX8 is one of my 3 favorites megaman games, the other 2 are MMX4 and X1, I just hope CAPCOM makes a X9 game, but with HD graphics ^-^

@erickvso It's not a matter of wanting it the same. These are really poorly done 3D graphics - the models look low-poly count, the environments bland are and the textures are low-res and muddy. The sound effects are awful, the music is generic, and there's way too much story interruption with bad voice acting than necessary. Innovation and progress are fine, but that's not what this is.

the voice acting in X8 was the best in the series, a lot better than X4 (XD)

the graphics, environments and models are good IMO.

the OST badass, way better than X2 and X3's (the X1 OST is the best of the 1st trilogy)

and the story is very interesting too.

don't judge me wrong, I loved the 16 and 32 X games and I think that CAPCOM did a great job in X8 too

@WaterDragonNinja I agree with you 100%, I'd actually be dissappointed if X9 wasn't 3D. It's bad enough that MegaMan 9 & 10 are 8-bit, don't ruin the X series too.

I have this game and love it. I just hope X9 will improve on the gameplay because this game is not only too easy but too complicated. It's better when it's just simple original MegaMan X style gameplay just with 3D graphics.

2d was much better. Megaman X6 was the best in all megaman series. Best background environment, felt like post-apocalyptic cyber space. Storyline in X6 was amazing too. They fucked it up from x7 on. Hopefully a megaman X re-make on a console like 360 and ps3 would look much more amazing in 3D.

u can tell this is pc gameplay because every time you get up to a small room (the mini stage where you kill things and get heaps of metalas after u win) it starts to lag. its always like that on the pc version for some reason...
