speaking of which the best Mortal Kombat 1 on a home system is the premium pack for MKD. Thats as close to the arcade as one can get, the only flaw that makes it less than arcade perfect in the music in the buddism fight level.

That version is better than the sega or Snes or even the PC imo.

Not sure of MK2 was superior, sure it added a lot more things, like juggling and air combat, but Jax, and Kitana, were Gods in this game, were in MK1 evey thing was on a even playing ground.
