I'm just saying as a general comment; directed at this song as well as many, many others. Despite the lyrics, artists want their songs to be heard, right? They want to "leave their mark" on the industry; change some lives right? That requires a fan base.

@brandenkhan15 Wow, first time I heard someone mentioning Christian bands like RED and Thousand Foot Krutch in a Secular band video....are Christian bands getting that popular? I mean RED was a great when I discovered them in 2007 thanks to a Christian TV station...I just didn't know they've gotten that popular.

@ClosedMyOtherAccount Well the thing with RED is that it doesn't matter that they're Christian or not...they are one of the best Alternative Metal bands out there period. I believe they've sold over 200,000 copies of their new Innocence and Instinct album since Feb' of '09. Also RED has collaborated with Brian "Head" Welch (guy who started the band Korn, also their ex-guitarist), they've also collaborated with Breaking Benjamin. So yeah they are definitely getting up there.

@brandenkhan15 I've saw the performance at the 2010 Dove awards with "Head" a few days ago on here. It was alright...the guitars were tuned down. I always prefered bands like Taproot or Janus over RED. I can listen to End of Silence and Innocence & Instinct and not get bored with any of the songs. It's just that they've gotten too popular for me, that's all.

@ClosedMyOtherAccount Oh okay. I think the problem with the Dove performance was that the audio mixers messed up when they broadcasted it and turned down the guitars too much. Even though RED is getting popular they definitely aren't going soft like a lot of other metal bands have...look up "red until we have faces" here on Youtube and you'll see what I mean. It's for their new Album.

@brandenkhan15 Yeah, I saw the preview. I just hope the band doesn't get too popular. They weren't this popular back in 2008...it frustrates me that all my favorite bands are mainstream now. I've stopped listening to Christian and Secular rock bands in English and started focusing on the Spanish-speaking bands. Some that I already knew from the past and some new ones I've discovered.
