Gotta admit, I didn't like this scene at first, it seemed so anti-climatic to have the bad guy die in one small attack. But then again, looking back now, it'd be crazy if he didn't beat him so easily with all the Digimon he absorbed. Shoutmon X7SM has to be up there for strongest digimon to exist.

I think it was meant to be ONLY the digimon who believed in Xros Heart and Blue Flare - the ones they personally met, or the villagers they saved from attacks on the Lands or Zones that were in the background.

@darksword101 look at it this way, digimon never die they only turn into digieggs ( xros wars is the only exception due to the world being destroyed ) and the digital world moves at a much faster pace than the real world: so when the digimon return home at the end of tamers they could have died and been reborn multiple times and when all of the digimon xrosed terriormon with the juggernaut system embeded in his data was fused with shoutmon X7 superiormode. you've been disproved punk.

Sorry to but in, But i think x7sm is stronger. Darknessbagramon was powerful enough to freeze the whole world, and was going to remakle it in his own image. Took him all of whaty, 15 minutes once he got started to get that far? The D-reaper may be more adaptable, but it takes longer to get that strong. x7sm then finished D.Baguramon in about 1 min. It might not be able to beat the sheer size of the d-reaper, due to we dont know if Shoutmon has any Large area attacks.

@frostryu well, if the original shoutmon x7 can use 7 victorize(which instantly wiped out gravimon's army) and 7 victorize maximum(which wiped out whispered :D and probably,if used against gravimon's army,would destroy both the army and gravimon with EASE) then it wouldn't be a stretch to think SHOUTMON X7 SM would be able to pwn the D-Reaper into scrap with a max of 5 hits xD(well, that's if he spams his 7 victorize maximum attack)

@hyperspears What you need to about the D-reaper is it can never truly be destroyed. The government made the thing to devour data and to be virtually unstoppable. I understand that X7 SP is uber powerful, and he will give the D-Reaper a very nasty beating but unless. But for all the power X7 SP has, he is still data. So unless Shoutmon happens to have a juggernaut problem installed in him.(which is extremely risky and should only be used as a last resort) The D-Reaper will soon overcome him.

@GuyverIV87 (Cont.) Not to mention of the fact that the D-Reaper is extremely adaptable and evolves at a increasingly fast rate. And will no doubt finds of dealing with X7 SM. The purpose of the D-Reaper (initially) was to prevent data from exceeding it's necessarily parameters. And that's pretty bad considering that X7 SM is pretty much a clusterf*** of every digimon in the digital world.

i know that the Xros should be really strong and all after fusing with all the digimon there are but shouldn't the battle atleast be a bit longer. i hate it when digimon do that, you are expecting an epic battle and all you get is somebody finishing the other in one attack.

for example in last episode of first season once they knew the crest was inside of them they just simply destroyed the chains and claws(why didn't they do it in first time anyway?) and rushed the battle it lasted 2/3 min
