  • David from Master Chef did the same thing. That beef wellington of his looked awesome... WHY DID GORDON RAMSAY SAY IT WASN'T GOOD??!?!

  • @thomastum because it probably wasn't

  • i find myself saying "done" after every meal i make, but getting disappointed in the end because its not as good.

  • I wonder witch mushrooms he use..

  • @ZZaiBoT2011 potobello mushoom

  • @coldlugaw ahh ok thank you so much.....

  • @ZZaiBoT2011 Those look like portobello mushrooms.

  • Beef Wellington..........Done!!

  • ahhh, i'll cook that when i have a date with a girl someday... I hope I don't fuck it all up.

  • @SomeOneFromOFS Cook it for your boyfriend, fruit.

  • @madisonelectronic yeah you're really funny

  • Perfection :O

  • lmbo... the chuck norris of cooking!

  • la .. lalala .. la .. laaaa xD

  • funny. all along the vid i was expecting to hear "add bacon strips and bacon strips and bacon strips..."

  • how long you bake it?

  • Love him!

  • Did ramsay make this recipe or perfect it?

  • Lol he can do it, but the other chefs in hell's kitchen screwed it up real bad

  • Damn

  • amazing!

  • That looks amazing! I would totally love to meet him one day, but how would you ever know what to say to a chef. when most people see an actor or comedian, they typically say, hey do one of your lines! or do that one bit you do! But when you see a famous chef its like....Hey!......Gordon Ramsay!......Uh......Fuckin....MAKE ME SOMETHING!

  • That is the most amazing beef wellington!!!

  • anyone know the sproxx baking time and temps?

  • any good substitute for mustard?

  • give me it D:

  • never had a beef wellington :P

  • he did it with style !!

  • Damn I see why the folks on Hell's Kitchen have issues. This is a complex dish yet Ramsay makes it look as simple as all get out.

  • he is freakin AWSOME!!

  • i heard tummy sound :|

  • glaze with what...?

  • @DistinctiveSound its egg yolk it makes the dough become more crisp and puffy.

  • I just had a beefgasm.

  • I forgot to mention in my last post that I like using Honey Mustard.

    (don't kill me!)

  • I've watched this video at least 5 or 6 times. I just love watching him work. My sister is an executive chef and I had her watch this video. She said he makes it look so easy but in reality it's hard (but rewarding) work.

  • i know english mustard is traditional but its too strong for my taste. i would use dijon since its a bit lighter

  • I like how the narrator says "BLLITZ"

  • 2 people dont like meat

  • ...and salt

  • how long in the oven?

  • YUMMYIEST WELLINGTONG EVER SEEN YUMMY YUMMY

  • what's the song's name?

  • @MrTrancorio * Type 'F Word' into the search engine here at YouTube and it should come up. It's kind of a bouncy little song.

  • How long does it take to cook it perfectly in the oven??

  • @mdaniagm the best thing is to keep a thermometer. it will be perfectly medium rare is center reaches about 60ºC.

  • @dnakirimoto Thank you for your answer!!It´s really helpfull!!

  • @mdaniagm go ahead and cook it, and i'll be waiting for the invitation. :)

  • thumbs up if this mae you freakin hungry

  • This wellington seems undercooked, I see blood on the meat. I'm not sure if I can put it in my mouth.

  • @BIoodBath That is not blood. That is juice colored by the iron in the meat.

  • @kiminokami No it's blood. Expect a piece of meat to have blood in it.

  • @tootoot123 You are confusing hemoglobin and myoglobin. There are no blood vessels in there. It is just meat.

  • @BIoodBath It isn't undercooked. It is a perfect medium-rare. If you want it well done you lose all sense of taste of the meat. If you want the real, great taste of the meat, that is absolutly perfect.

  • Chef Ramsey's cooking skills are perfection at its finest.

It would be a privilege to learn to cook from him.

  • @puggychu

To be a good cook you need to be a good person. Ramsay fails miserably. The only reason people respect him is because of his explosive nature, which got him into a bit of trouble actually.

His food isn't THAT awesome. It's pop cuisine.

  • @Dethmasheen Gordon Ramsay is an astronomically fantastic person whose morals and behavior are as juicy and delicious as the food he produces.

  • @kiminokami

    Troll on.

  • He is so good in the kitchen that he is probably good in the bedroom to.

  • Oh yeah!!!! Ramsey you are the man!

  • This recipe looks sooooooooooo good, however, I can do w/o the mushrooms. I don't like mushrooms period. I don't care how anybody makes them. So I'm wondering if there is a sub. And if anyones watched Hell's Kitchen, there is a sauce that goes with this. Also wondering how to make that.

  • @PassaicParanorm some ppl substitute the mushroom wif foie gras

  • "Beef Wellington" is actually "Filet de boeuf en croute"--French origin. And Wellington was Irish, not English. What the fuck, Gordon?

  • parma ham, ie prosciutto, but from parma region.

  • i have always wanted to try a beef wellington made by him :)

  • Well fuck me arse and call me daisy, this is the most mouth watering dish I have ever seen, i'd get my girl to cook this but I can't trust anyone except Gordon Ramsay and myself... so i'll have to cook this myself !!! MUST DO

  • I think it's actually medium-rare he was looking for in this segment. That seems to be most popular way for preparing beef in many restaurants. Yes, it looks f*****g delicious...

  • omg looks yummyness i some how tha looks like giant sushi to me hahhaha

  • Looks easier on the show. Now I see a little why some of the cooks fudge it up.

  • where's the plating?

  • k 2 questions, whats best type of mushroom to use? and whats he spreed the mushroom on ? looks like a thin slice of fish? or bacon?

  • parma ham

  • @airmatt86 He said it is some kind of ham, I think.

  • To each their own, of course, but I think overcooked beef, especially a prime cut like that, is a waste!

  • well, what is overcooked? i think thats medium-well he's doing

  • That´s not overcooked.

  • yummmmy !

  • wow...this is the most perfect wellington I ever seen...watching Ramsay cooking is just amazing

  • @cernacerna

No way. Tastes better with onion and paté in it.

  • @Anguis79 I agree
