Its Sad that the young players of today have not improved on this style of playing AT ALL........and its been around since 1984!!! and all they do is the same old shit over and over, they do the same Gilbert licks he was doing 20 years ago............is that supposed to be funny!!??
there must be another speaker or mic connected to the cube 60? i cant get mine to go that loud and sound that clear, im in a pickle on playing with my cube 60 or buying a bandit 112, or valveking, im thinking valveking time???
Yea the amp is mic'ed up. If not, it wouldn't sound as clear as that (as you mentioned) I'm not really sure which one to buy of those amps, but if you allready have a cube 60 I would absolutely not buy a bandit. The valveking is better though, but it's really up to you to decide which one you like the most.
me too i discovered him a year ago, i was searching through utube for some carvin reviews vids then i found him, theres kind of magic and warm feelings within his music!
and i discovered this guy like a year ago and i love it
alot of similaritis with 80 shredres like mister Vinnie Moore and Tonny Mcalpine not only the tech or sound but also the music and i never even hear about his visit to chile

What are the last 2 songs he plays? They're both some of the best neoclassical music I've heard in a long time..

Just that sound all the way through? No effects?
Elfredo 4 years ago
Uhm... an Ibanez tube screamer I think, and some reverb and echo.
marshallkiller 4 years ago
Which sound did he use on his Cube 60 at this gig? I have just gotten one and this is a nice sound.. What is his settings?
Elfredo 4 years ago
He used the Classic Stack-setting. Not the hydra gain-channel! (or what ever it's called:P)

Flink, ja, men så kjedelig musikk da gitt.. Bare gitarronk.
olehoel 5 years ago
Ikke kjedelig for alle, smak og behag ^^
Sollesnes 4 years ago
næh... mest kjedelig=P
men teknikken er bra... gjelder bare å bruke den på no som er musikalsk da vett.
eskildabelseth 4 years ago
Det er faktisk musikalsk selv om det ikke går i 1 note per 10. sekund. Fusion jazz er mye verre enn dette.
jan1080 4 years ago
for å si det sånn; jeg synes John Petrucci (hovedsaklig på de gamle albumene, absolutt ikke Train of Thought) er musikalsk.
fusion jazz er digg!=D var på Moldejazz siste uka, fikk med meg dritmye bra!=P
