@xXGarretWCostaXx You're an idiot. You're generalizing billions of people from the small percentage you have seen. In every area there are people that are considered less attractive and more attractive. Also, have you ever been to China? If you have, what areas have you gone too or how much time did you spend walking around. I'm sure you will find that there are attractive ones. In terms of what is sexy, just about every culture has different viewpoints on that.
@xXGarretWCostaXx no, I am dealing with the fact that you said "always". When you say always, it means you are dealing in absolutes. There is very rarely anything that is always a certain thing. Now, on the other hand, if you are using the word "always" more like "very often, most of the time etc." then I would agree with you.
@justletitallgo if i knew some douchebag was going to be picking apart my sentences, then maybe i wouldve worded myself more carefully mofo. and if you're going to go around getting offended over youtube comments, good luck with real life
@xXGarretWCostaXx wow, calling me a douchebag huh? Real classy there. And getting a comment on youtube picked apart? wow, definitely the first time it has ever happened huh? In "real life", people are always picking apart the things you say. Just look at the media for some examples. And YouTube is a very real part of "real life" and so is taking offense to things that are offending. If you don't understand that, then you need to wake up to reality.
@justletitallgo im not going to censor myself for your "classy" and easily offended ways. I'm going to say what I feel because I do not give a shit whether or not i'm politically correct. and alot of real life is offensive. in the words of a great man, "If i,ve offended you, sorry, maybe you needed to be offended. and if i appalled you, then FUCK YOU!" - peace brosef

@Amanite2 maybe we value the taste more than the fortune. and from raising them and alternatively eating them, they're more fragile and fickle than you imagine. pets in this vein aren't cared for as well or as expertly as they would if they were food.

@Digglepie Actually thats not true. The boiling temperature for water is 100 degrees Celsius at sea level. That means that depending on the elevation, water will boil at different temperatures.
mm.. stomatopods.. good eating, sweeter than crab.. i believe that was Oratosquilla oratoria? a larger species of spearer mantis, very commonly eaten in many SE asian countries..
lobster and crab are both boiled alive?? no bodies said anything about that...
i wouldn't noil a human alive as i dont intend to eat a human..
if they had left the lid closed they would have died in less than 5 second.. ain't EXACTLY quick an painless but better than what happens when you open the lid
You're not getting it. It's simply wrong to boil someone alive. It constitutes as torture. If you don't want to die like that, why would you do it to someone else?
yo realize seafood spoils INCREDIBLY fast in places like store refrigerators, imagine what it's like in hot humid evironemts.. it' not like they can kill and have it sit around a few hours or days...
They shouldn't be eaten at all! People have no need to eat meat in the first place, so it's pointless to go through all of the trouble of preparing it like this.
Ideally, humans should be vegetarian. Rates of obesity and mass pollution will drop dramatically, and you could add 20 years to your lifespan. Vegetarianism, not veganism, is the way to go. We still need some dairy products to survive. Second, plants have no nervous tissue or neurons, so pain does not exist for them. Third, I have no problem getting into a debate. It's how people learn to communicate effectively.
Wow. Thanks for that totally unnecesary, mispelled lecture. I'd honestly love to have a mature, logical discussion with you, but I find myself unable to take you seriously sometimes. Can you stick to the point?
wow, dismiss someone's views because of bad spelling? your a fucking asshole and nothing youve said so far cant be contradicted by something else, including your "conversations about healthy vegan lifestyles with doctors"
"IDEALLY WE SHOULD ALL BE VEGAN"
i guess the 98% of the world who havent taken your suggestion to heart should all go die according to you eh, assnozzle?
Dude. Why are you getting so excited and swearing? It's just a YouTube video. You're overreacting, and I can't take anyone who swears constantly very seriously. And finally, I don't want anyone to die like you suggested, I just want people to look at a lifestyle that involved not slaughtering animals, not ruining land and aquatic habitats from intensive farming or fishing, and a lifestyle that helps you live longer. Why does that seem to upset you so much? I'm not judging anyone here.
First of all, learn elementary school level grammar. Second, our ancestors were vegetarian. We developed canine teeth for tearing into fruit skins. The only reason ancient people ever hunted was because the land they'd migrated too was too nutrient-poor to farm; otherwise, they would have farmed. It's a fact, not an opinion that eating animals is a choice, (and a very poor choice at that), not a necessity. Get your facts straight.
canine teeth for fruit skins??? please tell me, exactly how tough is it to tear through a fruit skin. it's a fact that canines are the mark of a predator, used for holding down and biting through flesh. why do you think chimps have them? other monkeys make a sizable portion of their diet. humans are absolutely not naturally vegetarian - if that was the case than that's all we would eat. we are omnivorous, and our bodies are perfectly designed to handle it. get your facts straight.
Our canines really are for fruit skins (originally), and chimps really are vegetarian. The only reason humans ever transferred to an omivirous diet was because they had no choice- many moved out to areas that had soil too poor to farm on, and had to hunt. But today, eating meat is completely a choice. Vegetarians live anywhere between 10 and 20 years longer, so it is also a healthier lifestyle. And it doesn't support the world's most ecologically-destructive industries. My facts are straight.
i've read a number of these so called "scientific" studies conducted by pro-vegetarians and it's pretty obvious that it's all bs. they twisted science to support their own conclusions like the whole life expectancy thing. basically, none of it's true. and having taking a number of classes on evolution i have never heard anywhere of the idea of canines being for fruit skins other than from vegetarians. i wonder why...
Every doctor I've spoken to about the matter has (often reluctantly) admitted that vegetarians are, as a group, profoundly healthier than non-vegetarians. I happen to be one, but it's because of what I know about how ecologically destructive and useless the meat industry really is. Most of my friends are veg for health reasons, but working on a minor in environmental studies, I've found nothing but negativity from supporting meat industries or eating meat, so I gave it all up. And it's not B.S.
I agree with the vegan idea about how the animal abuse present in our farms is a very good reason to become vegan. At least vegetarian.
But please don't say that humans are naturally vegetarian. We did not become meat eaters when we didn't have a lack of food sources. Besides, farming came so much later. You know how we find sharp tools and spearheads from Homo erectus right? They used it for killing living animals.
Also, if humans lost their food sources when they traveled, you HAVE to ask these questions: Why didn't they die like every other herbivore that dies when they lose their food source? and why the hell did they migrate to a place with little natural food?
We're naturally omnivores!!! Ok?!?!? Natural does not necessarily mean good though. I agree vegetarians lead a healthier life if done correctly. But don't give false facts!!!
Back then, people had to constantly escape from large land predators, and had to move according to shifts in weather and harsh seasonal changes, as well as make their own territories. This resulted in a shift in lifestyle where they had no choice but to hunt animals to survive. Nowadays, we don't need animals to survive. I agree that our bodies can easily digest meat, but we are healthier and longer lived without it. So yes, an omnivorous diet is possible, but these days, it is pointless.
Can you guys stop posting this comments plz? This is a boiling mantis shrimp video and I see this comments lol so what if we're herbivores or omnivores, so what if veg. live longer or gets healthier, I actually live to eat, not eating to live. So having the opportunity to survive eating meat or vegetables is just an advantage among other animals. But the negative thing about eating meat is that it canchange our behaviour, making us becoming more agressive, violent... etc
another point, its definitely not pointless. you don't get a microgram of b12 from vegetables, you MUST take supplements(derived from meat) to prevent becoming b12 deficient, so to suggest its pointless, doesn't really make sense. also, in the western world, we have the opportunity to be vegetarians thanks to our wealth whereas the rest of the world doesn't. so it absolutely isn't a choice that everyone on this planet can make - some people simply must consume meat to survive.
Vitamin supplements are neccesary for both vegetarians and meat-eaters; even many meat eaters are considered low in their B-12 intake. Besides, B-12 can be found in milk, yogurt, eggs, and cheese, so technically, only vegans are the ones who are truly lacking. And there's supplements for that, so it's o.k. And I was speaking of people in developed countries, so I have to agree that elsewhere where food is scarce, (3rd world countries) sometimes people DO have to eat meat to live. But rarely.
What are you talking about? Any living being is a "someone." the word "something" applies only to inanimate objects, like cars and chairs. You said yourself that humans are animals, so shouldn't our fellow animals also be called "someone?" Think about it.
good point, still, other animals eat other animals, and some animals eat us, were just st the top of the food chain, would you prefer to be at the bottom?
The food "chain" actually isn't a ladder where every species has a place; it's more like a circle. There is no true top or bottom. Our cells and tissues are devoured by disease and bacteria, especially after we die, and we're naturally a vegetarian species, so we're biologically not even close to the so-called "top." And what's so bad about that? We only kill other animals out of choice, not necessity. Self-defense is one thing if we're escaping a predator, but most other killing is pointeless.
I agree. This is one of the most disturbing videos I've seen on YouTube, and trust me, I've seen a lot. It's not funny to take someone's life, no matter how large or small they may be.
Animal Abuse!

its all fine and good that u eat that...but it is cruel to boil them alive.
rsputin12 2 years ago
How do you think they should kill them then?
Crush them with a hammer?
Boiling them is the fastest and least cruel way,
the water has to be boiling as fuck though.
Satanperkele 2 years ago 4
hey guess what?
water boils at 100 degrees celcius, no more, no less
Digglepie 2 years ago
ofc i know that, i'm not THAT retarded. :P
Satanperkele 2 years ago
@Digglepie Actually thats not true. The boiling temperature for water is 100 degrees Celsius at sea level. That means that depending on the elevation, water will boil at different temperatures.

What savage and barbaric people! Put your fingers up your behinds and dip it in the boiling water and see if you still laugh.
damientran 3 years ago
I dont think theyre savage or barbaric.. It would be savage if they werent going to eat them...
The millions of tons of fish caught each year are left to suffocate out of water!! They are not individually stunned!!
Crabs as well as lobsters are always boiled alive...
Not too mention those famous american Crawfish feasts!! The crawfish are boiled alive in exactly the same manner!!

they are such savages. enjoying the sight of shrimp slowly boiling to death. normal civilized human beings do not enjoy torturing animals for food.

lobster and crab are both boiled alive?? no bodies said anything about that...
BIGgourami 3 years ago
I'm against boiling anything alive. I figure, if you would refrain from doing it to a fellow human, don't do it to anyone else.
SQUILLA898 3 years ago
i wouldn't noil a human alive as i dont intend to eat a human..
if they had left the lid closed they would have died in less than 5 second.. ain't EXACTLY quick an painless but better than what happens when you open the lid
BIGgourami 3 years ago
You're not getting it. It's simply wrong to boil someone alive. It constitutes as torture. If you don't want to die like that, why would you do it to someone else?
SQUILLA898 3 years ago
so they should be eaten alive?
how should they die for food?
yo realize seafood spoils INCREDIBLY fast in places like store refrigerators, imagine what it's like in hot humid evironemts.. it' not like they can kill and have it sit around a few hours or days...
BIGgourami 3 years ago
They shouldn't be eaten at all! People have no need to eat meat in the first place, so it's pointless to go through all of the trouble of preparing it like this.
SQUILLA898 3 years ago
so we should all be vegans?
who's to know if plants dont feel pain...
who's to know anything about anything but themselves?
you're about to enter a GIANT philosophical debate which hasn't seen one step in either direction since the beggining of time...
BIGgourami 3 years ago
Ideally, humans should be vegetarian. Rates of obesity and mass pollution will drop dramatically, and you could add 20 years to your lifespan. Vegetarianism, not veganism, is the way to go. We still need some dairy products to survive. Second, plants have no nervous tissue or neurons, so pain does not exist for them. Third, I have no problem getting into a debate. It's how people learn to communicate effectively.
SQUILLA898 3 years ago
true there is no nervous tissue in plants, but how do we know there's no other way to feel.. wwe are all human's, we will always be humans..
we can never fully understand the world as we see it through a human perspective..
we as humns aren't and will never be omniscent nor omnipotent..
we will never fully and trully understand everthing there is to see and know

"IDEALLY WE SHOULD ALL BE VEGAN"
i guess the 98% of the world who havent taken your suggestion to heart should all go die according to you eh, assnozzle?
bremenlegation 3 years ago
SQUILLA898 3 years ago
essentially, we are animals, animals eat other animals so why cant we eat animals too, just keep your opinions to yourself, and wel will keep to ours
rotaxmax 3 years ago
First of all, learn elementary school level grammar. Second, our ancestors were vegetarian. We developed canine teeth for tearing into fruit skins. The only reason ancient people ever hunted was because the land they'd migrated too was too nutrient-poor to farm; otherwise, they would have farmed. It's a fact, not an opinion that eating animals is a choice, (and a very poor choice at that), not a necessity. Get your facts straight.
SQUILLA898 3 years ago
still, they taste great :)
rotaxmax 3 years ago
canine teeth for fruit skins??? please tell me, exactly how tough is it to tear through a fruit skin. it's a fact that canines are the mark of a predator, used for holding down and biting through flesh. why do you think chimps have them? other monkeys make a sizable portion of their diet. humans are absolutely not naturally vegetarian - if that was the case than that's all we would eat. we are omnivorous, and our bodies are perfectly designed to handle it. get your facts straight.
sarge5000 3 years ago
Our canines really are for fruit skins (originally), and chimps really are vegetarian. The only reason humans ever transferred to an omivirous diet was because they had no choice- many moved out to areas that had soil too poor to farm on, and had to hunt. But today, eating meat is completely a choice. Vegetarians live anywhere between 10 and 20 years longer, so it is also a healthier lifestyle. And it doesn't support the world's most ecologically-destructive industries. My facts are straight.
SQUILLA898 3 years ago
i've read a number of these so called "scientific" studies conducted by pro-vegetarians and it's pretty obvious that it's all bs. they twisted science to support their own conclusions like the whole life expectancy thing. basically, none of it's true. and having taking a number of classes on evolution i have never heard anywhere of the idea of canines being for fruit skins other than from vegetarians. i wonder why...
sarge5000 3 years ago
Every doctor I've spoken to about the matter has (often reluctantly) admitted that vegetarians are, as a group, profoundly healthier than non-vegetarians. I happen to be one, but it's because of what I know about how ecologically destructive and useless the meat industry really is. Most of my friends are veg for health reasons, but working on a minor in environmental studies, I've found nothing but negativity from supporting meat industries or eating meat, so I gave it all up. And it's not B.S.
SQUILLA898 3 years ago
I agree with the vegan idea about how the animal abuse present in our farms is a very good reason to become vegan. At least vegetarian.
But please don't say that humans are naturally vegetarian. We did not become meat eaters when we didn't have a lack of food sources. Besides, farming came so much later. You know how we find sharp tools and spearheads from Homo erectus right? They used it for killing living animals.
sandiegoryu 3 years ago

SQUILLA898 3 years ago
Can you guys stop posting this comments plz? This is a boiling mantis shrimp video and I see this comments lol so what if we're herbivores or omnivores, so what if veg. live longer or gets healthier, I actually live to eat, not eating to live. So having the opportunity to survive eating meat or vegetables is just an advantage among other animals. But the negative thing about eating meat is that it canchange our behaviour, making us becoming more agressive, violent... etc

Multivits 2 years ago
another point, its definitely not pointless. you don't get a microgram of b12 from vegetables, you MUST take supplements(derived from meat) to prevent becoming b12 deficient, so to suggest its pointless, doesn't really make sense. also, in the western world, we have the opportunity to be vegetarians thanks to our wealth whereas the rest of the world doesn't. so it absolutely isn't a choice that everyone on this planet can make - some people simply must consume meat to survive.
sarge5000 3 years ago
Vitamin supplements are neccesary for both vegetarians and meat-eaters; even many meat eaters are considered low in their B-12 intake. Besides, B-12 can be found in milk, yogurt, eggs, and cheese, so technically, only vegans are the ones who are truly lacking. And there's supplements for that, so it's o.k. And I was speaking of people in developed countries, so I have to agree that elsewhere where food is scarce, (3rd world countries) sometimes people DO have to eat meat to live. But rarely.
SQUILLA898 3 years ago
a shrimp is not a someone
rotaxmax 3 years ago
What are you talking about? Any living being is a "someone." the word "something" applies only to inanimate objects, like cars and chairs. You said yourself that humans are animals, so shouldn't our fellow animals also be called "someone?" Think about it.
SQUILLA898 3 years ago
good point, still, other animals eat other animals, and some animals eat us, were just st the top of the food chain, would you prefer to be at the bottom?
rotaxmax 3 years ago
The food "chain" actually isn't a ladder where every species has a place; it's more like a circle. There is no true top or bottom. Our cells and tissues are devoured by disease and bacteria, especially after we die, and we're naturally a vegetarian species, so we're biologically not even close to the so-called "top." And what's so bad about that? We only kill other animals out of choice, not necessity. Self-defense is one thing if we're escaping a predator, but most other killing is pointeless.
SQUILLA898 3 years ago
That was fucked up. Being boiled alive is an atrocity.
