Making a balloon caterpillar

Hi Flower Clown, Fab tutorials, just wondering the pic you showed with the rainbow caterpillars how do you connect so many of them together. Do you use one 260 to thread through the length of the caterpillar body?  I think I may be being a bit ditzy!!!!

@TheFaeryWillow yes, you can just keep adding new colors and use a 260 thru the middle.

Some years ago I tried to inflate 260s with helium, and doesn´t work. :(

@globibitos They are not floating they are on a stick. 260's don't hold enough helium to make them float.

The center is the last balloon pulled through the center which brings all the loops together.

You make a small bubble, and hold the two twists (the ones on both end of the bubble) and twist them so that they touch, and keep twisting it like that a few times. Hope that helps!

blow up a bit of the balloon, then push the top of the inflated part (the part away from the nozzle) while still keeping a path for the air to go down. It may take a few tries, but the air should jump to the other side. It also helps to stretch the other side a bit before doing this, it makes it the primary destination to expand, if that makes any sense. Hope that helps!

Another question I got: When you cut the extra off the eyes / antennas cut on the end of the knot so as not to let any of the air out of the balloon. This was just to trim the extra balloon off.

Info Request: they wanted to know how you make it longer. All you have to do is repeat the 3 loops and keep adding them together after that you may have to use an untwisted 260 balloon to go through all the loop twists. check out the video post from mishels to get a better idea.
