this always pisses me off i dont know what runways the use for landing and takeoffs . like for ex they takeoff from runway 24 so what will they land on . and sometimes the use runway 6 for landing wich is also 24 . this always comfuses me . please help me .
You will always take off and land against the wind direction. Because when you take off wind helps the plane take off faster, and during the landing it helps the plane stop because of the drag
hey man awesome videos especially the pmdg 737's...jw is that a ken mitchell panel ur using? and if so how did u get the LCD displays instead of the rounded CRT?
I always say start slow and work your way up. If you want to get into Big Jets and get a rough ideas of how they function in flight then this was a great start. I certainly dont knock it for what it is.
Awesome landing, I love the flare and the touchdown. WTurbiasz, your videos never cease to amaze me! Just one question though. I run FS2004 on a laptop and I have Active Camera 2004. I DO NOT have a numeric keypad, so do you know how to move around in the external pilot view or virtual cockpit/cabin?
Go into the Active Camera options menu and you might be able to change it from there. Its not somethign that I have done so Im not really sure if you can assign other keys to the movement. Sorry :(
Nice landing! How did you get the flight atendents and the captains voice and the whole cabin sounds> Also was that on VATSIM because I heard all those radio transmissions
Very well done. Touch down was textbook perfection, just remember if you fly below minimums on approch you might not make it to the runway, fly the needles to a T. Good job :)
WTF are all of you talking about? Where was the storm? This was easily one of the most boring things I've seen here, must be a REALLY narrow appeal for sim geeks I guess.
Cool video! Thanks :D Where did you get those cabin crew sounds?

Weather determines the active runway. If the wind directions is changing so will the runways that are used.

A340 right?
I really like the vid man
I wish my graphics were this good!
Awesome effects with the radio transmissions etc.
You could almost see the real thing, if you squint a bit :P
Abrar91 4 years ago
Yeah its the A340 one of the first add-ons that I got. I dont fly it all that much anymore but it was a fun aircraft.
WTurbiasz 4 years ago
Funny the CLS/Justflight 340-500/600 was my first pay ware i took the similar route as you the PMDG!
773ER14 3 years ago
It was a great plane to start with as it wasnt all that complicated but better then the default stuff. PMDG knocks it out of the water.
WTurbiasz 3 years ago
True, considering the differnces in MCP, FMC, EICAS e.t.c.!
