Cool vid! I never got to see it when I was younger. He's the best coach in my opinion. Maybe I'm a little biased, as my screen name shows, but he has had consistancy and has always had much respect for other programs and their coaches. He's beat Texas more times than he's lost to them. He got Oklahoma a national title and has sent us to many more. Let me ask everyone this, if Stoops had won all the championship games he's been to, who would you compare him to then?

Not to mention how many on his staff have left for head coaching or coordinator jobs (Mangino, Long, Stoops, Sumlin, Wilson, Pelini) If a team beats OU, they're on the map. And tell me, over 13 years who's better?  Urban Meyer(quit when going got tough), Tressel(similar record), Carroll(gone when violations were coming), Les Miles(gifted championship team by Saban), Mack Brown(too easy). All these coaches are great but he's right there. Only coach who can have an argument over is Saban

Only big time coaches play in big time games. Do you guys know how hard it is to win a national championship? There are 120 teams, 25 of which actually have a shot to win...and be clear they all want to win. He has been consistent for 13 years. He didn't start having subpar seasons and resign like some coaches. And he is not an up and comer that anything they do is considered 10X better than last year. He's entrenched.

You must be out of your fuckin mind. He's not even close to being the best coach in the country. He hasn't been shit since his brother left and the only reason we're probably gonna get back on track is because his brother is coming back. Seriously though, the guy coaching us now is not the same guy that's in this video. He's changed and hopefully for us, Mike will set things straight.

He's lost a lot of big games at OU as well! Couldnt win national championship in 2003, 2004 or 2008 despite having Heisman talent. Also, his win in 2000 national champion was b/c he had other coaches players.

OU hired Bob Stoops for $750,000. We got the deal of the century. He's still the best coach in the country in my opinion.
