  • I'm a vet but I can't help but be pissed off at Anheiser Busch for spending millions of dollars every year on gun control legislation and making the WORST beer in the world and expecting these commercials to sway real Americans to think that they are OK.

  • @tonyidaho I too am a Vet (Iraq 06/07) and pro gun as one can get, but I think your missing the message here. Any recognition is always good.

  • who the fuck! clicked the thumbs down button?!

  • Im a Army vet and the way Budweiser made this commercial is not the way it happens it real life ive been around the worlds airports to include many us airports and we never recieve this kind of raction but thank you Budweiser for making this letting us know you care..

  • Look at the last guy in line, the one who turns around at the end and looks back at the camera, I think he's Memmo Fierro, the bad bald Mexican mafia dude with neck tatts in CSI Miami. David 'Horatio Caine' Caruso has been trying to collar that tattooed dude forever, and now the escape artist is trying to pass himself off as a trooper or a terrorist or both! Look how he's smirking back at the camera and getting away! Where's that damn dog of yours, Spuds MacKenzie, when you need him damn it?

  • Does anyone know the name of this track? I need it for a video im making. thanks.

  • Thank you

  • Yes, really big heroes, killing people around the world.

  • @prole38 yeah you probably live in america huh? you communist

  • @prole38 You should be SHOT with a ball of your own SHIT!

  • Cheap sentiment.

  • @ Bradleezer - *I* applaud you! Thank you for your service and your sacrifice.. you are awesome...

  • they are all just actors for a beer comercial

  • @sox775

How do you know? Have you asked them?

Anyway, by making that statement you don't get the point of this commercial.

  • God bless the troops and their families, we all need to remember their sacrifices daily!

  • I love the troops and all but anyone find it kinda sad that a beer company would use that to promote themselves?

  • @stabdabunni They only aired this once, during the Superbowl, as a thank you to the troops.

  • @stabdabunni

they did not use it to promote themselves that is why it was only aired once as it was not for profit notice the only part that was advertised was anheuser busch not Budwiser and it was at the end no this was not promotional

  • Democrat is to Republican as Liberal is to Conservative. Now that thats established, I simply used the word liberal because they are the ones that are typically post negative things on a patriotic page, such as this one. Reading your LAST post, I don't see anything that suggest that you disagree with the fact that an American soldier returning home safely is something to feel good about. I completely agree that the world is a far more complicated than U.S. political parties and affiliations.

  • The world is more complicated than this. This isn't something that we should be "feeling good" about. It's a fucking disaster.

  • @shimokita2

And your a fucking idiot.... Soldiers returning home safely is defiantly something to "feel good" about.

  • @bmbrock88: Fuck you, asshole. You're too stupid to understand the point of my post.

  • @shimokita2 I completely understand what you are saying. In fact, having a political science degree, i probably have a better grasp of the whole situation than you do. Your saying that we shouldn't "feel good" about being in a war. This commercial isn't about the politics of the war or the war itself. It is about a group of people in an airport paying their respect to a soldier returning home safely. That IS something to feel good about regardless of what your liberal ass may believe.

  • @bmbrock88: Again, go fuck yourself. "Liberal" and "Replubican", etc. are anachronisms, you should know this if you're really a poly sci major. Like I said earlier, the world is more complicated than that.

  • @shimokita2 I used the word liberal because they are the ones that typically post negative things on a patriotic page(mainly the far left) or the complete ignorant. Furthermore, political parties and affiliations are far from being anachronisms when speaking on the subject of war. My point is simple, soldiers returning home from war safely should make any citizen feel good regardless of political views. There is a place to debate politics and its not on a page that is paying respect to troops.

  • @bmbrock88 Im just going to quote something that i said in the past post and be done with you. " OR THE COMPLETE IGNORANT."

  • Many thanks to all our military troops and the sacrifices they have made. You guys and gals ROCK!!!

  • thank you to all the men and women who serve our counry! keep up the good work, come home safe! hooah!

  • im pretty sure troops wouldn't encourage something as reckless and stupid as drinking, why troops come to my school and talk about how its horrible all the time, i don't drink or smoke, one of my friends were killed by a drunk driver. i wish prohibition would come back...

  • @ihateyourstupidass you may think were fighting for oil and you know you maybe right but the only reason i serve has nothing to do with oil politics or whatever else you people like to say were doing. I serve because i love my family and friends and its my way of trying to make sure another 9-11 doesnt happen. guy you have the right to say whatever you want on here war gave you that right remember. please just take it easy on the family members on here.

    god bless the usa. HOOAH

  • Thanks to you for getting Bin Laden!!!!!! God bless you!!

  • From the first time I saw this, I thought it would have been even better if the soldiers had been leaving to GO to war, instead of returning, especially when the last guy turns and looks back...

  • My husband fights for your freedom to fill this channel with the bull shit you just blew out of your ass. if you dont appreciate anything any of these guys do to keep you safe maybe you should go out and stand on the front lines in front of them and be the one to get your brains blown own because they have so much more honor then you do. You disrespectful piece of trash. Your just a hate full POS who has nothing better to do then talk shit about people who have done nothing to you.

  • How in the hell did ten people dislike this?! Probably Al Qaeda.

  • well they all risk their asses everyday so assholes can sit here free and bitch about them...people are idiots

thank you to all of our troops!!

  • This is to angstyporcupine You welcome I served two tours in Iraq one in Afghanistan so people like you can disrespect my brothers and sisters in arms who I fought along side with so you can say this ugly and disrespectul shit to us

  • thats okay karma is a MF'er and you will get yours bitch. one way or another. They give up the birth of their children to fight for this country. so sorry people like you have the freedom to make comments like this.

  • 9 people pressed dislike because they thought it meant dis-i-like!

  • Awww :')

  • whoever disliked this video is obviously not american.... how could you not like soldiers coming home?

  • All I can say is, "thanks for your service". It's been said many times and feels so inadequate, but Thanks!

  • @angstyporcupine you're a bitch, do us all a favor and eat shit.

  • @angstyporcupine SCREW YOU! Let me guess you dont live in our cntry?! These BRAVE ppl make it so that my kids wont have to endure the pain and terror of having bombs and death in our streets! Ya, we do have other prblms here, but why dont you put down the ppl that make mils for a 2 hour movie?

  • @angstyporcupine And im sure you go support them!! Maybe they should be taking pay cuts to help in those areas? As far as im concerned the millitary dont make enough! You have NO IDEA, obviously, what they and our families go thru! You don deserve freedom, go somewhere that doesnt have ANY... How bout hell you jack ass!!

  • @angstyporcupine you do realize that you would not be enjoying your freedom if it were not for the people in the armed services, Right? Look whether you agree with the military or not it is a necessity because there are people out there that want to kill us and destroy everything that this Great Country stands for. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE. and the Heroic members of the armed service are willing to fight for our freedom, All of our freedom.

  • @angstyporcupine LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING ASSHOLE. MY HUSBAND SERVES IN THE MILITARY AND I CANNOT BELIEVE HE SACRIFICES ALL SO BITCHES LIKE YOU CAN WRITE IGNORANT SHIT LIKE THIS ON YOU TUBE ITS FUNNY YOUR THE ONLY ONE WHO POSTED SHIT LIKE THAT. SO ILL SAY THIS YOU PIECE OF SHIT IF YOU CAN STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS THEN STAND IN FRONT OF THEM BECAUSE THEIR LIVES ARE SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THEN YOURS. AND YOUR NOT FIT TO LICK THE FUCKING DIRT OFF THEIR COMBAT BOOTS. GET THE FUCK OFF THIS CHANNEL.

GET THE FUCK OFF THIS CHANNEL.K

  • @moore5211 First of all, lay off the fucking caps lock. Second, your husband isn't fighting for anyone's freedom to do anything. He is fighting for oil, and your "right" to buy cheap shit at Walmart and make rich people richer. At least be honest about what we are doing in the Mid East.

  • I want to ask a favor of everyone watching this, thank a Veteran today. And if anyone in the armed services are reading this I just want to say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.

  • I could watch this over and over and get a tear in my eye. In my humble opinion, the real heros of our country are our military, teachers, police officers and firemen and all those who dedicate their lives to helping others. God bless our veterans and God bless America.

  • @mr1112418 Well Said. Thank You. that's exactly what I was Thinking

  • @mr1112418 The real heros are the ones that don't come home, the rest of us are simply survivors.

    Iraq Vet 06/07

  • 6 people are straight up assholes. Thank you veterans, you inspire me every single day.

  • whenever i watch this... i accually cry

thank you to all our men and women who are serving out nation, god bless you

  • @Lionstorm100

Your Welcome! Its sad I joined right after 9/11 Dropped out of school and went in. At that time there wasnt anywhere we couldn't go that you would get saluted, Thanked, Applaud, I went through Atlanta Airport and everyone stood up Clapping i was about to cry. Now it dont happen that much. People seem to think were not at war or we havnt fought in a horrible desert for 13 months at a time.

  • I remember when they clap for me and my firnds in FL. :)

  • Oh and P.S. if anyone is in the ACLU and got made for me saying God Bless,...you can go fuck yourself with a jackhammer!

  • This video put a tear in my eye, it's a damn site better seeing the welcoming these heros are getting than veterns of Vietnam got, coming home there would be people at the gate and spit on and cuss at, i'm happy to see our veterns get a warm heartfelt welcome nowadays. Thank you to all the service men around the world for keeping us safe. God Bless the Army, USMC, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard. You all truly know the price of freedom.

  • THANK YOU to all of our service men and women. No words can come close to describing the gratitude that is felt upon you, but you must know that every night we "normal" US citizens lay down to sleep we are forever thankful for you who put your lives on hold and on the line to protect this great nation. You are great at what you do and we are behind you, supporting you every moment that ticks by.

Thank you and may God bless you in all that you do.

  • Hi folks, I'm military, US Army 1st Lt. I don't have family waiting for me as they all are deceased, neither wife nor kids, but whenever I see my people's faces, I know why I live for and what you lead me to lay down my life for. Folks from SF are bound to the same oath of protecting our people and support all those who believe in our values. For some of ours, unfortunately this is just a speech; for those who hate us, though, this is to fear our great country and people. Thank you all!

  • Some of our troops have yet to come home from that war. So many are forgotten, so few remembered. I will never forget there sacrifice. I hope peace and joy found you SSG THOMAS A DOLAN. MIA in south vietnam, 10, AUGUST 1971. Gone but never forgotten. GOD BLESS this great nation.....

  • We all owe them our lives

  • This is, in my opinion, the BEST commercial ever made. Simple. Yet, it gives me goosebumps every time I watch it..... just like it did the FIRST time I watched it.

  • This makes me proud to be american!

  • god bless all the troops at war

  • wow gives me goose bumps. Awesome commercial. they need to play this on TV

  • Who are the ones who would vote this down? You are shameless!

  • It doesn't matter how many times I watch it, and I'm not an emotional person at all, but this video gives me the chills every time. God bless our troops.

  • I am an American Soldier, this happened to me twice. At Phoenix airport and at Dallas/Ft. Worth airport. It means more to us than people know, we may not show it, but it does. Thank you.

  • @tolstadb And thank you for serving our country. I wish this happened everywhere and all the time. My brother was in the 82nd, and I'm enlisting this week. Our troops deserve everything, so thank you. HOOAH!

  • @tolstadb thanks for serving by the way what branch were you in? army,navy,...

  • Just awesome. And I do so wish our troops from Vietnam had received this kind of welcome all of the time too. I am from the era and just cried when I saw some of the things that our heroes from the Vietnam War were greeted with. But, I guess all we can do now is make sure they know we appreciate them all and make damn sure it never ever happens again!!

  • NICE!

  • best commercial EVER.

    THANK YOU TO OUR TROOPS!

  • One of the best days of my life was landing in Atlanta airport while on was on leave from Iraq.

  • @hooah9422

    Thank You:)

  • This brought tears to my eyes. God bless our troops! I am not happy with how our vietnam troops were treated. I think every troop deserves a pat on the back or a standing ovation! God Bless America!

  • Not a single word was said, but it is one one the most powerful commercial I have ever seen.

  • They sure wern't there when we got back from Vietnam,,,,,,except to harass us, call us baby killers..to where being proud to have served your country wqas made to be a crime...

  • i'm unapologetically liberal, but this made me cry. i hate the idea that anyone who is liberal doesn't love their country.

  • God bless our troops. Thanx Budweiser.

  • I LOVE YOU ALL! I always have and I always will! Thank you all so much for your service and your sacrifices for this great Country and for my freedoms! Stay safe, be well and keep kicking ass for America! Hugs, Sparrow Six-Five!

  • This may sound petty, but where are their flags? US troops in (or on leave from) battle wear reverse American flags on their uniforms (stars in the upper right corner). That flag is pretty cool.

  • Epic win.

  • nice ad but i cant help but think bud are just trying to get people all emotional .. to sell more beer.

  • everytime i see an active serviceman or a veteran i thank them for their service. hope people will do that for me someday...

  • goodjob budweiser for supporting our troops

    God bless America

  • This has happened to me, twice, returning from overseas. Both times, it left me feeling very humbled and grateful to not have to return to the homecoming the Vietnam vets did.

  • wonderful thanks for give us Freedom

  • I think it'd have been stronger without the sappy background music.

  • I love the commercial , but if they wanted it to be more realistic they should have gotten permission to use the combat patches and had service and name tabs, of course being a soldier myself i notice that stuff and it drives me crazy when its not their.

  • @GokuSS31 legally they were not able to, otherwise i'm sure they would have liked to honor them in that way as well.

  • @thechad818 No bone head it makes you grateful, or it should.

  • As a former soldier in the U.S. Army there is nothing like coming home. It's better than christmas morning. Love your freedom? Thank a soldier or a veteran. LAND OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE!!!

  • @thechad818

    Yes I do ;-)

  • god, i love that commercial...

  • Thank you veterans.

If you are reading this, thank a teacher.

If you are reading this in English, Thank the military.

  • This kind of commercial shows what makes America so great and different from other Nations and damn it I am going to buy some Budweiser.

  • They don't mention Budweiser ONCE in this entire commercial. The end says Anheuser-Busch, not Budweiser. This is not an ad to sell beer, its an ad to thank those serving our country from the people at Anheuser-Busch.

  • i love the USA but i don't like how patriotism can be used to make people do things without thinking, like buy a product or do some other more questionable things. if someone tries to use your patriotism to motivate you to do something you should be very very careful. what is his/hers/theirs agenda really? hitler used patriotism on the german people, yet he left them defenceless to die when the soviets invaded in 45. some patriot eh?

  • @scandapoodle honestly, i saw this commercial, just like I saw their 9/11 tribute back in 2002, as a thank you, they didn't advertise at all in either of them, they put the budweiser symbol at the end, and I saw this as a signature, like "thank you, from budweiser"

  • @bigreddawg91

maybe, and i respect your take on it. but i believe the marketing people know just exactly what they are doing.

  • @scandapoodle ya, but then again Budweiser doesn't need to air this to turn a profit, considering how much they make and how many of the other commercials they have that actually promote their product. Plus I think this only aired once, I know the 9/11 one only aired once. Plus the company's actual policies, some of the stories their employees have about it, Its just nice to see a company publicly thank the troops, especially considering by doing so they're bound to lose busines to those whodont

  • No matter what you think about the war, these folks serve our country and they deserve our support in every way, at every time. This commercial gets me, because these soldiers unconditionally risk their lives and go through hell for everyone in America, no matter who they are or what they believe in. These individuals care about nothing but helping others and representing their country. These folks deserve our unconditional support and admiration.

  • Wonderfully moving video! My country tis of thee.....Wacvet (US Army Retired).

  • Welcome Home!!!

  • So powerful, yet so simple. I am always afraid to say something to our troops cause I don't know who actually wants to hear it and who doesn't (you know cause of those who would rather not serve).

  • :')

  • being a soldier, this makes me wanna cry and say you're welcom...

  • i remember when my da came home. i was so proud of him. sadly my uncle didnt make it home :( he was killed by a car bomb but im still proud of him he was so brave

  • Brilliant commercial. Absolutely brilliant.

  • i was never able to go to one of those instead i had to go to a cemetery to see my uncle come back from war.

    RIP CPT Sanchez

    101st airborne division

    Screaming Eagles.

  • @dodgersfn4life truely RIP CPT Sanchez

  • I did 4 years in the navy on an aircraft carrier and I have to say that the "grunts" on the ground earned respect from every single squid in the fleet.. Thank you dearly!.. FYI: Spazzdog--> I hope that one day, chance will introduce us because I would LOVE to brutally ass fuck your ENTIRE family w/ a tire iron; starting w/ your parents for not aborting your half breed stupid ass.. Do the world a favor and swallow a shotgun! You are a herpes blister on the face of society!! I hope you fucking die

  • Thank You!

  • As a soldier, I experienced this in the Atlanta International Airport. It meant a lot to me. I remember every single thank you and applause I've received.

  • This is a good video...I just wish that I got an applause when I got home from Iraq tho. Oh well.

  • Thank You.

  • Yes - Thank you! *clapping*

  • Always have to have a tissue handy when I see this. However many dozen times it's been. And can't help but applaud myself, simply from a heart full of gratitude for our Finest. Our Military Men & Women. SALUTE!!!!!!

And to you spazzzdog~~~clearly you aren't current on your shots. Especially parvo and rabies. Must suck to be an ungrateful malcontent.

  • Amen!!

  • This beer is for are troops! "I just opened"

THANK YOU! Men and Women, be safe!

When I see someone that has just came back I always thank them I hope you all do the same. Peace!

  • It felt damned good to receive a similar applause when we got back from Iraq.

We volunteered. Each of us had our own reason for putting ourselves in harm's way in the service of our country, and for you to throw some party line blanket statement over all of this shows that you are simply quoting the party line, and that you have NO CLUE what drives us to serve. Get your head out of the koolaid and take the blinders off.

To the rest of you: Thank you for your support. It was an honor to serve.

  • Thank You (From a Canadian supporter)

  • God bless our troops.

  • So much for Spazdog. Or is is spazgoof?

Either way, this is by far the best commercial I have ever seen. I get choked up every time I see it. It pays a great deal of respect to those who deserve it, unlike spazjerk, who doesn't deserve it.

    THANK A VET!

  • Great statement! Hope you'll listen to my song here on YouTube, "Thank a Soldier"

    -- Trish Lester

  • CLASS! Pure and simple 'class'. Typical of Anheuser-Busch, especially the patriotic commercials. What a gifted advertising department. Keep up the GREAT work.

  • Bless these soldiers! Spazzzdog can shove it. I am very thankful for what they are doing!!!!

  • This is what our service men and women deserve...beer. But not Budweiser. After punching a terrorist in the mouth, dammit, IT'S MILLER TIME!

  • Good point, Go USA!!!

  • I'm not sure how to interpret your cheer.

  • @SpazzzDog

Have you forgotten that our enemy came to our shore and killed our citizens, that their espoused goal is to kill us and destroy our way of life? This enemy denegrates women, sexually mutilates their daughters, and eschews the killing of all non-beleivers. These wars are hardly the work of jingoists elites in Washington. You need to get our more....

  • we didnt put him there dumbshit, he murdered his way there. The US supported his efforts against Iran, but we didnt put him there. Get your facts straight or shut the fuck up you liberal peacenik faggot fucking goof.

    UNBELIEVABLE!

  • We fight so you don't have to!

  • best commercial ever. =]. Thank you so much to all troops out there. Without you we would truely be unsafe. You guys are amazing,

  • Budweiser always says it best "thank you". But these words just never seem to be enough for our military. We do so appreciate the sacrifice you and your families have made for us.

  • I am against war although it probably leads to success in america. i know nothing about politics and im not going to pretend like i do. (Something most of you couldnt admit). However i support every troop and hope they all come back safe. god blees them

  • All these dipshits trying to make this about politics. Fuck politics. How about putting that crap aside and taking a minute to honor these men and women who put it all on the line for us regular schmoes every day.

  • This commercial kills me. Not because its bad (its great), but because it reminds me off all the travels i've made alone to scary places. I hated going through airports, because i was always sad. But also all the "Thank you"s, and how much that means to me. It is a big sacrafice, a HUGE sacrafice, but coming home to see this, makes every last SECOND of it, worth it. Thank YOU, guys.

  • Being 19, and leaving home at 18, it has to be the toughest thing i did in my life, but its so worth it.

  • My dad is a Marine who served in Vietnam. Most of the vets from that time did not get a proper welcome home. lets make sure this never ever happens again.ALL of our troops and vets deserve the upmost respect.

  • @ichbincarrie I know what you mean, far too often I'm driving along the road, and there's a veteran standing there looking for help, and it always breaks my heart, that our country forgot about them. The vast majority of these heroes, though begging on the side of the road, still wear the colors of the US with pride

  • @ichbincarrie by this you mean we should drink more budwiser???

PS: Budwiser n budlight are not own by any Americans firm

  • @CrazyDogGang You miss the point!! The point is we should applaud our troops! Beer has nothing to do with it... It just takes a company that sells beer to remind us of this..

  • @ichbincarrie

    Semper fi.

  • @ichbincarrie You are right about the lack of respect. I have a BIl who served there & made it home. My hubby had a first cousin who served there & did not make it home. War is a tough thing to deal with...God bless them all.

  • even as a half canadian half american living in canada, this commercial nearly brings me to tears everyt ime i see it. what those guys do over there is harder than normal citizens like myself will ever know whether you agree with the iraq war or not, i hope they all come home safe.

  • Every now and then, I like to play this video to keep the troops in the front of my thoughts...God bless all of them!

  • Sure is a lot nicer than certain members of the Senate treated our troops after Vietnam, what with throwing his medals or ribbons or whatever he finally decided away, and accusing them of attacking women and children, and air-raiding villages. (No, wait, the last was certain current presidents.)

  • lol cause I have to. Im almost done

  • No muslims chanting hate at them...that's refreshing. They're allowed to in the UK thanks to our piss weak liberal government. And they hate Bud too,how about that!

  • They Hate Bud :(

LET THEM BURN IN HELL LOL

I lived in the UK for 2 years , and what amazed me was to see that Muslims piss on the Goverment.

I'm not European , born in the US but raised in South Africa.

I'm currently in Germany but everyone is so affraid of hurting people's feelings. THE LAW SHOULD SUPPORT IT'S OWN PEOPLE FIRST, SAME IN GERMANY !

FUCK THE EU , WE DON'T WANT OUR COUNTRYS TO BE PUSSY'S TO ISLAM !

  • Way to stereotype all Muslims : 3

The law in the UK DOES support it's own people first. The UK army also goes into foreign countries even when they haven't attacked them or started a war, which is just absolutely disgusting. Why are they in their country? Everyone knows the answer.

  • COOL...........

  • This is one of the most moving commercials I've ever seen Every US and Allied Serviceman/woman deserves this

  • im coming home very soon for leave from overseas i cant wait to get back..

  • MedoraCowgirl - I agree 100% If you dont like the USA then go some where else and then let us know how good you had it! We have what we have b/c of the brave men and women who shed their blood for it!

I wil lbe damn if i let the LIBERALS TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME!

GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!

  • @Kykid12345 Why are you blaming liberals. I lean liberal and I totally respect our troops. Labeling all liberals as unAmerican or anti-military is like saying all conservatives are backward, uneducated ninnys. It is simply not true.

  • @BentleyGadget Amen to that. I'm a liberal who is the granddaughter of a US Navy captain who served honorably in WWII and Korea. My grandmother also served in WWII; she was a 1st sgt in the Women's Army Corps. 2 of my uncles served in the Army and 1 was USMC. My fiance is an Army veteran. I have HUGE respect for our military. Always have, always always will. God bless them all.

  • @chalicechiq Your grandmother served? Wow! I'll bet she has some stories to tell. One of my grandmothers moved to the West Coast to work for the war effort and I've always regretted not asking her about what it was like back then.

  • @BentleyGadget Yes, my grandmother served, but she died in 1998.

  • Good Luck Foxfire1112 Come Back To Us Safe. Can anyone tell me the name of the website that lets you know when troops are coming home in your area. Im a American Legion Rider Post 132. We re pretty new, but we would like to be involved in welcoming back our Heroes.

  • Thank you, and no, I've never heard of it
