Alot less busier than London, I can tell ya! I wonder if they have as many strikes as they have down here in London. Greedy bastads - wanting money for sitting on their arse all day and telling people to mind the gaps between the train and the platforms. My 5 year old nephew could do a better job than them useless fuckers.
i remember those early trians too, just I was so close to the floor a puked every time I got on. Motion sickness, Old alcohol, sputum and vomit. But the again I was only 5. Ten years on and I would have lovrd it
The first part of this video was shot at the Glasgow Transport museum, then the mving train videos were shot at the actual Glasgow underground... I'm guessing Kelvinghall station...?
These tunnels have gotta be the tiniest for any metro in the world! Some passengers heads seem to reach the tube tunnel ceiling when they are standing on the platform. Any smaller and it would be a 'kiddies underground' only!
London's Northern Line could have ended up with tunnels just as small as this if standard gauge had not been chosen!
gettin depressive while watching londons tube and glasgows subwayy. they are so small and ugly compared with viennas

@Dazzeeh I can't remember the last time Glasgow Underground had a strike. I've been on both.

Yes, that's Kelvinhall. I am old enough to remember the museum ones, which were in use from 1896 right up until the late 1970's....
...and the tunnels are 11ft in diameter, so very small, the guage is only 4ft.
