You're too stupid to do what you are planing. Why do you need 120VAC? Many devices uses way lower voltage, so just make the voltage you need. And keep in mind that the hardest part will be to make it efficient and safe. Can you imagine what is going on in the mobile phone in your pocket? There are a lot of hosehold devices which are sensitive to electric field created by your Tesla coil. Tesla was a total genius, but he haven't imagined about digital electronicks and high power consumption.

@tesladude19 P.P.S. If you want to collect energy from your TC more efficiently, you need to build another such coil, only without primary and all the drivers. Only topload, or special antenna and secondary coil, with the same resonant frequency as your Tesal coil transmitter. Because your can is collecting only electric field around your coil and my mentioned receiver would collect electric field + radio signal. Tesla coil is basically a high power radio transmitter. Sorry for my english...

Well if you want to make a reciever that can pick up the energy from the coil just try and put togehter an avromenko plug (bridge rectifier) and stick it to some led's or a circuit with a super capacitor. Check out users Lidmotor, Gbluer, jonnydavro, and MRH2O2 (dr stiffler). Especially check out:

this is interesting..i have been doing a little research of my own mainly on Tesla and can get enough of it.ur idea of powering your house using wireless energy transfer is a good thought. 1 i had as well but on a larger scale... Tesla wanted to power the world this way but lost funding and contacts because of the same idea. No one would back him because it wasn't as profitable. You seem to know what ur doin though & i'm curious if this is a school project or something your rele interested in.
