They were called Groundswell, and after their first album failed "Wave of Popular Feeling" in 1995. It was sort of a grunge-rock. This this is Adam's voice, but I believe it's also him playing guitar, and of course Neil on drums, and Brad on bass. They were GOING to make an album "The Demon Within" but they decided to split up in 1997. They went to school, Brad found a business term Three Days Grace, and called his former band members. It wasn't until 2003 they added Berry and made 3DG.

I believe it was back when the band was called groundswell. At the time they didn't really find their style yet and were going for the whole Pearl Jam Grunge style. Adam wasn't signing like he usually does in three days grace so that made a huge difference too. Its not so bad though, asides from obvious quality issues since i believe this was recorded from a home studio.
