  • Wow. Amazing shot, don't remember ever seeing a signal box at heuston, when did that go? Also, there's what looks like a station to the right of the tracks between 3:55 and 4:08; when did that go?

  • Amazing. I was looking out for any 001s and then I see this big long row of what initially looked like 001s but I think they were in fact a row of 201s, withdrawn in the mid 1980s. Fascinating stuff.

  • what year was this taken?

  • hmmm

    try and think

    maybe ull guess

  • Sorry i just saw that. Thanks for your sarcasm.

  • If anyone likes the sound of a supercar...they should come and listen to the sound of the Irish locomotive...absolutely, gorgeously aural! Pity that sound is disappearing from all rail in Ireland!

  • great!!! a pitty he hade the camara zoomed out lol otherwise we could have seen the real speed

  • Great video's,

    Thanks alot for sharing them.

Its amazing to think that 081 and a decent rake of timber's, and cravens, would've made it into Cork much faster than today's 201's and Mk.4's.

Keep up the great work with the brilliant cab ride videos.

    014 is great!

  • Ye but we all know what the tragic results of having the timbers in the fleet was !

  • Love that engine noise
