I've also believed that a pocket trumpet and a regular sized trumpet are interchangeable instruments for any trumpet music. Purist beliefs don't count for much. If you like having a brand name and a big boys horn, by all means, spend the money, make yerself a man.
But practically, pocket= regular. The differences are not worth arguing about.

Carol Pocket Trumpet is really a fine instrument from "Taiwan" which is the best pocket I've ever played.
