Digital Foundry lied when they said there were all kinds of framerate drops on the PS3 version. I have played through the game TWICE on PS3 and I guarantee the framerate is rock solid which is why Lens of Truth rated these two games identical. DF are Xbots apparently!

@sffgvcb1 the PC version is only superior on a supped up PC. well over half the people who buy would buy the PC version due to its graphical supremacy would be disappointed due to their PC unable to reach similar levels, most likely lower levels than the consoles.

i downloaded the demo on both consoles before i bought the game. Played both of them while switching back and forth between video sources and i did notice slight differences that would only be seen if you were looking to see them. Nothing was "better" on either console, just different. I ended up buying the 360 version, really for no reason at all. Regretting it a little bit now only because I like the Obsidian suit better than the elite. End game costume replaces it anyway.

This is a great example of games that were developed on the ps3 first, the ports are easier to make, and they run identical.

On this particular game...no it doesent rule. As far as graphics the PC version 1st, then 360, finally PS3. The textures are much more detailed on the 360 and even more so on the PC, but I did love the ending monster on the PS3 where at some point it spits out the weaker monsters for you to fight.

Playstation controller is inferior ergonomically to the xbox 360 one, especially if you have big hands like me. But the bumpers and directional buttons on the 360 controller are awkward. I still prefer the 360 one though.

yeh these comarisons are skewed because it really matters the settings on the tv and the tv it self. Even tho, ps3 does have better graphics overall-- look at killzone 2 on a 42 inch plasma and tell me that anything else comes close.

derp they probably used the same tv. Usually on multiplatform games, the graphics are just slightly better on the 360, just due to the fact that it is usually the main development platform. The difference is really small and not noticeable when playing. I only have a ps3 btw.

even with the same tv the tv requires a diffrent setup for each system. (example when you unplug ur ps3 and replug u resetup the resolution, whter its 1080p, etc) Regardless, to tell which system has better graphics you can only compare exclusives, and ps3 exclusives are without a doubt visually better

Okay these graphics comparisons really suck on each one? If you want to compare, compare 1080p to 1080i, a real graphics comparison, multiplat, they make the shit on shit60 and then convert it...and if the developers not biased he might just add a little bit more in for the ps3 but that hardly happens, except for in prototype with ps3 having rocks, and 360 having well paint or someshit on the ground, these comparisons suck, it being made on 360 thell go all out, and then convert and do bad...???

I don't think the developers are biased, chief - it's just that much easier, when putting together a game, to consider the 360 version. MS have made their console very developer-friendly, making it that much easier to bring PC releases to it - and leaving PS3 as the real port.

Blame Sony if you want to pick a fight with someone. Their decisions have made it that much harder for developers.

I use my PS3 for the exclusives, as they smash the 360 - but multis go with the box.

I don't understand why this video is using 720p output on the 360 as the basis of a 'fair' comparison - surely half the fault with development for the PS3 is that so many games end up being 720p when they could be higher?

it's just the resolution and that doesn't even affects the graphics high resolution 1080p is only worth it on 40+ inch HDTV's

and there's no console that has a native 1080p with 60+FPS though i don't know they said that god of war 3 has 1080p native.
