  • are you saying absolute morality doesn't exist?

  • Correct, absolute morality does not exist.

"No man can ever grasp the whole impersonal neutrality of a universe." - Sylvia Plath

  • I'd go even further and say that the entire concept of absolute or objective morals is absurd.

  • It's pretty easy to get objective morality under naturalism. You don't have to argue for moral relativism even if there are grey areas. I made a series of about 5 videos responding to migkillertwo explaining how not only we can have objective morals but how we can employ an empirical method to determine what is ACTUALLY moral and immoral. It's basically exactly what you stated, i.e. consequences: with an empirical study, we can show what the exact consequences are and thus determine what's moral

  • I thought it funny that the bible says he had a she bear attack and kill the little kids for teasing a bald dude, but yet he let Cain go, even though he killed his own brother Abel

  • Well, not funny.

  • The bible has never seemed that moral to me. Morality tends to seem to come more from the values we are taught at an early age by parents and society.

  • the bible actually say tha if someone does commit murder you are obligated to kill them. send them to god for him to judge them
