One thing i would like someone to clear up for me is that in the third film i quote mace windu say to anakin " you are on this council, but we do not grant you the ring of master" yet anakin has an apprentice in this, and you have to be a jedi master to have an apprentice? Wtf
@Andychrys15 You don't have to be a Jedi master to take an apprentice, apparently, just a Jedi Knight. Oh and its another toy for Lucas to collect some cash on...
@Andychrys15 You have to successfully train an apprentice to become a master. Anakin is like obi-wan at the end of episode 1 and episode 2, a jedi knight with a padawan. Anakin cannot finish Ahsoka's training becuse the war is only 3 years long, and it takes more than 3 years to finish training.
@Andychrys15 Obiwan was a Knight when he took on Anakin as his Padawan. And FYI, even Padawans have taken on Padawans before. See Jolee Bindu. In fact, in the Clone Wars, it wasn't atypical for Padawans who had lost their Masters to form Masterless groups while continuing their training.

So its not really a matter of 'original' its more like the films versus the series. Or if you like the films versus the animation. In the begining I believe Lucas wanted to make 9 movies giving more in depth on the clone wars.
This is a really great show, because i dont know you guys, but i feel its independant from the movies. Sure it has references to characters and its about them, but i really dont feel that they're so related, which is a cool feeling and shows how much development the writters have done. The animation is pretty clean for 3D and the music is pretty nice.

Also, since the clones and droids are insanely disposable and die by the thousands all the time, it's easier to make big, colorful battles. Again, it's all for the kids.

I loved episode I-III i think episode IV-VI were unnescessary and episode III should have had a different ending than all the clones turning into gay storm trooper and the droid turing off
@destructor5675 kinda confusing when IV-VI were the first and necessary building blocks for everything you love. 1-3 are good actions IV-VI are good movies in general IMO
This show makes me sad. Ruined too many characters for me (Grevious). Decent action and once or twice it shows it can be good (Anakin torturing that Poggle guy), but I feel it betrays too many of the characters. The other Clone Wars cartoon was much better.
I guess were getting close to the Revenge of the Sith time period!:D

Oh, if only they would include the other EU writers with this project. Especially Karren Traviss with the Madalorian episodes. The series is okay, but it'd be great if it didn't conflict with continuity so much. Or at least refrain from making the Madalorians a bunch of pansies.

@Keynji That's not a mistake Qui-gon was killed by Darth Maul in episode I, so Yoda became Obi-wan's master. And besides, Yoda is everybody's master anyway.

@TheMandGBoy no, thats wrong. in star wars I it's darth maul, in star wars the clone wars 3 episode 22-24 (?) it's a other zabrak: savage opress.... (in english: savage + oppress)

....p.s.: asajj ventress came out of the nightsisters, too! she was the pupil of darth tyrannus (count dooku) until he should kill her because of a loyalty ask the Emperor. then, in believe of count dooku, she would be dead; she flew to her home planet, dathomir, to find the queen of the nightsisters, mother telsin. she, so asajj ventress, wanted to kill darth tyrannus (count dooku) but she need help from an other assassin, who belongs to count dooku, who had the same strong as her.

later, there's in the door from count dooku's home her old pupil, asajj ventress. she attack with the help of her puppet, savage, her old master darth tyrannus.

p.s.: there's a mistake at the link of episode I-III and episode IV:
in episode I-III obi-wan's master is qui-gon jinn; in episode IV his master is yoda... :) :)

@Keynji *SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!* Qui-gon Jinn dies at the end of Episode 1. After this, Obi-wan becomes a knight, and helps train Anakin, who later becomes a knight.

@habboaddict2 but in episode V ben kenobi said to luke that he should fly to dagoba to his old master, yoda. and that's the mistake because in episode I his master is qui-gon..

@Keynji People can change masters. His master Qui-gon is dead. You can't fly to Dagobah to visit a dead guy.

@Keynji Personally i watch this series for the clones i love how this series shows them as, then i watch this series for jedi and sith.
I loved episode I-III i think episode IV-VI were unnescessary and episode III should have had a different ending than all the clones turning into gay storm trooper and the droid turing off

@destructor5675 kinda confusing when IV-VI were the first and necessary building blocks for everything you love. 1-3 are good actions IV-VI are good movies in general IMO

This show makes me sad. Ruined too many characters for me (Grevious). Decent action and once or twice it shows it can be good (Anakin torturing that Poggle guy), but I feel it betrays too many of the characters. The other Clone Wars cartoon was much better.
