Thanks. This BOTB was pretty fun. Back then we were all about the show. We considered ourselves showmen as much as a musicians. That attitude is what made us go over big in Reno when we moved there from Fallon. It was the accidental motorcycle crash of the bassist and drummer that caused everything to come to a screeching halt!
Woah!!! Battle of the Bands in 1984? LOL That's awesome! Was it staged like the Battle of the Bands is now(In Fallon)? These days, if your a friend of who does the show, your band wins!
No, it was actually fair back then! LOL! The band who kicked the most ass won! It was weird because we had to bring our own PA and nothing was mic'd like it is nowadays.
