I disagree. While Terrence Stamp did a great Zod, his was more two-dimensional. You're typical mustache twirling villain. The Major Zod on Smallville is a much more complex and interesting character. Stamp's was just a general who wants to conquer Earth. Smallville's Zod has a guy who wants to protect his people, and was Kandor's hero, but he has a tragic past that slowly drives him into the dark side. Smallville has a better Lex and Zod.
