  • John has been ill, so we've had a difficult time getting together. He will be in the final cut. I've done several new interviews, including Bugs.

  • John Nitzinger is conspicuously absent...

  • I love Linda Warring

  • I brought back the Cellar in Ft. Worth in 1998 on W Berry but it was never like the old Cellar.

  • I'm hoping for a late Summer, early Fall release. More interviews and lots of editing still to do!

  • is the dvd out yet?

  • . My father being the clubs attorney and friend of Pat Kirkwood. I remember at around age 8, my dad would take my brother and myself to the club with our Cellar shirts on and let us run amok. I also remember being paid $5 to play drums with the now ZZ Top and had to play standing up, too short to sit on the stool. Later in life (1980) played drums in my own band "The Ejectors", check out the song "Hydrohead" on Youtube. My cousin who lives in Long Beach opened up The Cellar, in tribute.

  • "Dirty blues kinda club" Joe Ely....not a black guy in sight in any of these photo's!!!!!

  • There is a screening of the feature-lenght film at the FW Downtown Public Library Sunday, November 21st at 2:00 followed by a panel discussion. Hope you can be there!

  • It was a place in time that can never happen again. It's where i got hooked on live music. So glad someone is documenting this.Glad i got to be there!

  • Brandon, This is Linda Waring, Most famous for being the drummer of the Ft. Worth Band, Nitzinger. I remember the night she got the scar on the bridge of her nose. It was at the 1972 Sunshine Festival north of Ft. Worth. Nitzinger was playing, the wind caught one of her cymbals and it hit her right across the bridge of her nose... she continued to play, not missing a beat, bleeding profusely!! I was standing about 12 feet to her left... She is one of the best female drummers EVER!!

  • I have to say this: I love that lady at: 6:00, and 700., and what she said at 8:31....

  • She's awesome.

  • Sorry, I can't help but, love the baby boomers.

  • Giles and Jaci.

This is great. Can not wait to see me and others. I enjoyed working with you both.

  • I think Miles did a really great, professional job on this flick, can't wait to see the whole thing. I played the early set for about 6 to 7 months from 68 thru spring of 70. It was a great time, still really miss it when Halloween and New Years Eve comes around. No big secret, it was just so much damn fun. Who would have thunk it in Fort Worth, Texas of all places?

  • Thanks, Giles! This is great!
