@mgdlgu Always make a hard save..( separate from the games auto saves)...then after a while make another..when you're far enough along over-write your 1st W/the 3rd...keep on in that fashion..true you may have to replay a big portion, but you won't end up in that position...

@mgdlgu I had a glitch like that. Fawkes was in the room where you wake up, and he followed me. Then he disappeared and whenever I tried to hire a different follower, they wouldn't follow because Fawkes was following me. I did the Pitt dlc and it forces your follower to stop following you. After finishing the Pitt, go to the museum of history and he should be waiting for you there

@ninjacat123 alien blaster hits for shit loads, the ammo is not scarce if you have mothership zeta, why wouldnt you use vats this is probably why your ammo is scarce because you barely miss with vats, not everyone skips dialog, if there were such thigns as rad scorpions you think they would just leave us alone

no, but you can get a perk called puppies when you unlock it at 21 i think u need broken steel add on though then a new canine will wait for you at vault 101

Old Olney brings such bad memories. Butch died there and I had to drag him all the way back to Canterbury Commons as h had all my equipment on him whilst being pwned by Death claws. Dog meat was devastated....

@FutureRecon94 go to vault 101 entrance for the dog and for fawkes... This might sound weird, but i found him in the museum of technology. I was getting charon back and i was like WHAT THE FUCK. So I hope this helped :)

The Alien Blaster is at the Recon Craft Theta crash site, which is north of the MDPL-13 power station, which is north or northeast of Minefield. Travel in a roughly northward direction from Minefield. Go on until you see the MDPL-13 power station. Follow the power pylons north until you pick up the Recon Craft Theta Distress Signal. The UFO is near a hill by a destroyed house that it crashed through. Depending on where you are, the craft itself can be hard to spot if you don't look carefully.

when you go to get the G.E.C.K there will be a terminal don't bother just talk to him on the inercom or pick the lock but if you talk to him on the inercom he will say to go at the right hallway end will be a room with a terminal
