What I can't understand and seems hilariously retarded to me is... why Gillette makes 3, 4, 5, 100-bladed shavers that cut the beard closer and closer? Instead of that, why not using your brain to create a single-blade shaver to do the trick?! How complicated can that be?!

@Depressado over the years gillette has (according to their wiki) invested $750 million in d&r, so I'm sure the idea of a single blade would have crossed their mind. Obviously multiple blades gives a better shave than one.

@farhannius Uh, check your info. Gillette invented the single blade (DE or safety razor). It is still superior to their multi-blade razors. Check out Mantic59's youtube channel if you don't believe me.

the gillets fusion is just a scam.. the mach 3 is the best. the fusion advertises that its "gilletes closest chave", how much closer could you possibly get without taking off a layer of skin?? fusion is to much, it irritates and makes doin your top lip hard... gillete got it right with the mach 3

This past April, I made the decision to get a new razor. My old razor was a Gillette Sensor Excel. It was very outdated, and I kept getting cuts. It was time for me to get a new razor.

The Fusion was an absolutely terrible shaving experience for me. The blade was too big to even shave right on my top lip. very difficult to even shave perfectly. I finished a shave with my Gillette Mach 3, 3 hours ago. And wow :) my face feels absolutely PERFECTLY smooth like the paint on a new car.

I agree. Ive tried the Fusion, (the regular one and the Fusion Power), but I got too much irritation. 5 blades is simply overkill. For me my Mach3 saves perfectly and the blades last a long time.
