Hey I just left a comment in the market and I just want to say again great work. The best graphics I have seen on my Evo 3d so far. If anyone else knows of any game with great graphics like this please let me know. Thanks in advance. ;-)
Oh. My phone (htc Droid incredible 2) doesn't have a hdmi port. And also I installed unity Android for free, I think it was the trial or something, and my computer is really not designed for running that. It isn't powerful enough, and its just really laggy.
@Dominic0623 Hi, this isn't acctually a recording of the app, it's running in unity's editor on pc being driven by the phone using the unity remote app on the phone.
you can't really record your phone using software as it would be to cpu/gpu intensive, if your phone has a video out port (mini HDMI) you could capture the output of the gpu on an external device. if thats not an option then you might try emulating on the pc and then use somthing like fraps to record,
this looks so promising for the android OS..it really rivals unreal engine(epic citedal) on iOS kudos for the devs for making this...hope u tale this further and make a game out of it :)
Tried the demo on my galaxy s, first ever app to see having graphics on par with infinity blade. Seriously, this is brilliant to even run at 30 fps on an android (since android consumes much more power). I'm subscribing!
Yes I should have been more clear..I have seen the engine before but never looking quite this good...makes me feel like playing Oblivion :-) What eta you have on this game?
@shaolin95 Hi, this never was really meant to be anything more that a tech demo, I just released it as i'm learning and I wanted to get a grasp of the whole Android/Unity development and publishing process. you can subscribe to my channel, it's not updated much but when i'm ready to release somthing next i'll probably post a video on it.
@shaolin95 Do you know C++ or any programming? Cause I want to build some games on Unity and don't know just 3d, nothing about programming.. :( Is it possible? It's easy to rip off some scripts on web?
It does work although it runs smoother than on your video but suddenly seems to have hiccups where it lags a bit then goes very smooth again. Looking fantastic. Cant wait for game with this engine!
@shaolin95 Hi, this uses unity engine, lots of games have been made with it, but some of the techniques that have been used to make pc and console games look good are only just now making there way to mobiles, check out a game called shadowgun, which also uses unity and advanced rendering techniques.
is this for Experia play only? Not running for me with Captivate (Galaxy S) and CM7 gingerbread. It shows the Unity screen then never moves from there or restarts my phone at that point.
@shaolin95 Hmm, It should work, I've been having a few complaints from samsung users, I don't have a samsung device too test it on and I think it might have somthing to do with the way Unity is coded. Either way I did some performance improvements on it last night and significantly lowered its memory footprint. you can try the latest update but I can't promise anything.

How did you record your Android devices screen? Was it an app?

Add some monsters and a few weapons, and you've made the best RPG ever on Android. Seriously.

Cool concept. And the pizzicato Ave Maria soundtrack is really touching. Hopefully you'll get to do something great with all this graphic power!
