what I noticed is when they did the Kokanee ranger live or die..and they made the commercial for the fate of the ranger..they totally spoofed the end of this episode. I mean right down to the issues with parallel parking. type in "fate of the kokanee ranger" and you will see what I am talking about. what do you think?
Steve Perry the lead singer of Journey when asked by David Chase for use of the song "Don't Stop Believin" for the final song said the only way he would let him use it if wasn't associated with Tony's demise. So Chase had to let him know the outcome before Perry would give permission for the song. They used it so it means he still alive and kicking.
LOL you so missed the mark it's not even funny, Perry meant for there to be bloody violence, whatever happened to Tony is just as interpretive, that doesn't stamp some kind of verdict on the meaning of the end.
Also, too many people have been saying different crap about if he died.
Like, maybe the terrorists he ratted out had a bomb in the resturant. Or HOW MEADOW Ran in fast, in a way to tell the family something (Like they blew up his house)they killed the remaining sopranos and meadow witnessed it all.
it was a great ending just too many people didnt watch closely Tony got killed at the end...the trucker is Nikki leotardo Phils nephew and during the begining in tonys dream bobby said when you die everything just goes blank and you hear nothing thats why the door chime didnt even sound....
great endin that nearly brought me to tears with "dont stop believin". the episode was quite borin though and only one death!! tony and paulie shoulda whacked the whole of phils crew or aj shudda been whacked!
The guy at the end,is either the russian hitmen who was send to kill tony or the ghost of his father "johnny boy"(HE HAS THE SAME FACE) trying to say 2 get out cause the russians are coming and they'll wack you and your familly!!(And that's the logic reason he went to the bathroom...)
The family may go on living their lives normally, as symbolized by the use of Journey's song "Don't Stop Believin'": "And the movie never ends/It goes on and on and on," or the family may have been killed, as symbolized by the abrupt ending
man this was a horrible video bad music not pump up...wat the fuck was up with the fast forwarding and the scenes were all out of wack the only thing good were the words u added
Bobby, innocent? Bullshit. He whacked that Canadian guy in the laundrette, remember? He pissed off Tony, who gave him the job as punishment, but he wasn't innocent. Adriana? She ratted out Christopher and the whole family, criminal or otherwise. She covered up the stabbing of that drug dealer, remember?
I shed a tear for Bobby, but I can see how his death was necessary. He was the last innocent character on the show (the other was Adriana). Now that he has been killed, the show itself has lost all innocence. Now everyone involved is culpable to some extent in the evils of the show.

This is decent. Thought it was an actual HBO trailer for a while there. I really dig the Marvin Gaye motif.

There is a story on cnn that says:
"Think Tony Soprano's Dead? You may Be Right"
Also, too many people have been saying different crap about if he died.
