I tottally agrees with you. illegal imigrants and refugess are two different things according to UN. these tamil migrants are escaping presuction in srilanka by the sinhala goverment. the only way to stop it is by puttin sanction and pressure on the srilankan goverment until they respect human rights and find a political solutioin for the Tamil minority.

Well thought out. Where are your sources regarding canadian immigration stats though. You must have polled alot of your working peers on their "Canadian thoughts" on illegal immigrants showing up off the coast. The sheer possibility that just one of these immigrants might be a terrorist, and or infected with TB should be enough for the Canadian navy to turn them around and send them home. Very nice point of view! I agree with you. There is a alot of hype and scapegoating going around in the media and with politicians right now. In fact, with all the scandals with the politicians and powerful elite rich men screwing hard-earn taxpayer's money, this is the perfect opportunity to blame our high unemployment rate and other things on immigrants.
