Hi can i ask. All these widgets like the twitter/facebook/weather widgets, it all requires wifi connection is it? in 'loading' the content, it requires a connection am i right?

Yes to Facebook. The screen is nice and sensitive, rated against the iPhone if iPhone was 100%, I would give this 90%.

Does the "Urban Brown" HTC Hero got that teflon coating? If not, do you recommend white or brown?

As far as I know, it is just the white with the special teflon coating.

Feels really smooth and marks come off very easily.

IMO the white looks the nicest anyway, but phone colour and looks are a very personal choice.

@davomrmac I actually think the brown looks best( I've only seen pictures though), so the teflon coating is pointing me towards white but the looks of the black one makes me want that one...

These are really great reviews davomrmac. This phone is very tempting. Do the contacts and calendar sync OK with Outlook? Also, are there a good variety of snooze options for reminders (Windows Mobile is very poor... e.g. snooze for 1 hour or 1 day but nothing in between!). Many thanks.

I have HTC Hero from 1 week and I Update my ROM... The Phone is perfect... and YEAH the Hero doesnt have a flashlight, BUT This is smartphone, if you need Great pictures go for some Photocamera... HTC HERO IS PEFECT! iPhone sux<<<

HTC hero seems perfect so far, but did i hear you say in your other video that there is no flash included with the camera?? I was just thinking about rolling over and buying this phone - wtf were they thinking? No flash for night time photos?!?! I guess i can forgive because the phone just seems perfect for all the needs!

Got mine yesterday too :) It's kinda weird what resolution and compression the device is using on the wallpapers (both on the lock screen and home screen). Tried a 480x1400 wallpaper for example but the device makes you to resize it differently so that resolution doesn't work.

Let me know if you find something on that part :)
