As a drummer in punk and hardcore bands for years and years, I can say there is nothing more awkward than asking a punk band to lipsync - Especially when you're a drummer, lol. I remember doing a video for Ludichrist way back when (the makers wound up ruining the footage at the lab later) and the band was just performing the song. I did the same thing, I walked away from the set and started interfering with the other band member and messing them up on purpose because it's too lame to pretend.
