This doesn't produce nearly enough hydrogen to run a car. All it does is make fog. If it works, show your car running on hydrogen gas, which you can't because you have no idea what it would take.
@jeffislouie wow really you think you know it all dont you....... learn before commenting so shut up and watch the "David After Dentist" video that you like
@TheEXTRAtesco Oooh, burn. That video has been seen 72 million times, moron. Good comeback. I'll go "learn before commenting". Here's the deal - it's fake. Hydrogen is a low energy dense chemical. You couldn't produce enough of it to move the car, much less start it. Especially using a mason jar, electrodes and water. Most importantly, if this guy could run his car on "hydrogen", he'd be a billionaire, not some fake on youtube. YOU NEED TO GO LEARN BASIC SCIENCE.
@jeffislouie but think that jar wont but what is the boot had a huge tub? there would be enough gas to run it? and you wouldn't need the petrol tank so more room for the hydrogen? idk pls stfu.pls
@TheEXTRAtesco Um, duh. It's been done. It's called the Honda FCX Clarity. It's a hydrogen fuel cell car. However, this video proclaims to show a person "making" hydrogen and using it to power his vehicle. First of all, the "hydrogen" he is making is more than likely simply water vapor. Encouraging people to inject water vapor into their car is dangerous and stupid. The point isn't that hydrogen cars aren't possible (they are), it is that this video is as fake as Pam Anderson's breasts.
@jeffislouie Water vapor ain't bad to inject into your engine at all! This technology comes from WWII when pilots found their planes ran a lot smoother when they flew close to the ocean's surface. The water vapor from the waves got sucked into the plane engine's air intake and gave a slight boost of power as well as better fuel efficiency.
While water can be called hydrogen hydroxide (which makes it sound like a base eg. Sodium Hydroxide) it can also be called Hydric acid. Water is a neutral amphoteric oxide which means it is not an acid or base but can act like both, so it would be giving H2O as it's formula. Because it's an oxide, scientists would call it Hydrogen Oxide.
BTW, HHO is a 2:1 ratio of H2 and O2 and when burned produces water, which can be turned back into HHO.
Hi, Since water is H2O, the electrolysis separates the hydrogen from the oxigen, but even in gaseous state it is still two atoms of hydrogen (HH) plus one atom of oxigen(O), therefore it is informally known HHO since in this state they are not chemically compounded. If they would get chemically compounded, you will get back the good ol' water!...with a bang!
This the future of dead people. Glass is never good to use in a hydrogen generator. Use plastic. I had to learn that the hard way with stitches and I'm still pulling glass shrapnel out of my leg a year and a half later. Use PVC instead. It's much safer. Just trying to help others to avoid what I had to go through. Believe me it SUX.
Yeah I have redesigned the inside using stainless steel 316L, the medical grade. It works a lot better now! I will try upload some videos of it later on. I've been really busy the past couple months.

I would put a blow off valve in that lid because if you get blowback it will blow that whole jar up.

@jeffislouie Ever heard of Stan Meyer?

@worryphree Yes he mysteriously died after inventing a water engine.
MrRuzo214 6 months ago
@jeffislouie It allows you to lean out your fuel/air mixture so you use less gasoline. He's not saying he's running on 100% HHO.

water's is hydrogen hydroxide. which would make it HOH. not HHO. im in high school and know that. dunce. get a GED

HOH
Yep... it's also bipolar, and thus is an extremely useful molecule :D
