I'd love to be half as smart as John is. He is bang on the mark on everything he's saying here. Seems absurd now but who knows what private space enterprise is gonna look like in 50 years? Private is more plausible anyway, since sadly we're in the situation that governments would rather spend more money on technology for defending their countries. They just need to invent a cure for ageing so that I'll be alive to see what private space enterprise will achieve. I want to travel to Andromeda :).

@CrAzYpOtHeAd420time The texture quality of almost anyhting in that Game is really poor, even post-fix and with forced AA and anisotropic filtering via your graphic card drivers. You'll notice it once you go inside of any building. They didn't bother to do anything about various issues with the game and blamed AMD for their failures while leaving the sinking ship. The only patch they put out removed any modability of the game instead and crippled the ingame console.
In his Wiki, it talks about how he exhibits traits of a sociopath... I always found that hilarious. WHy does society always peg brilliant people as crazy?
@BeeFittyTwooz Well...technically no. But yea in status I bet. The differences are that Kojima is a game designer. Carmack's work is mostly about making the game run. He's the man behind the scenes that makes the game possible.
As far as I know he's a programmer.. He does like none of the designing part's, not sure for certain but I think John mostly does the engine's themselves
The government has technology that we'll never get to see, everything we do see, is all for show, or just killing people. Funny, a first person shooter developer talking about rocketry, considering warfare simulators are being commercialized to desensitize the drones, it makes sense. This guy is brilliant, but it wouldn't surprise me if he had handlers. Another egghead fucking this world up with more garbage.
