There are no records of having advantage of 200 pounds of weight over african male lions.African male lions are bigger & heavier like siberian tigers. and, at 2:58, that was actually a male tiger, not a female. note the size of the ruff of hair on that tiger, which is characteristic of males. the large mane of the lion makes him appear larger than he actually is, as well as his greater height. if you look closely, you can see a protrusion just before the tiger runs...that`s his balls.

Tigers are solitary cats (unlike lions) - that is why they lack the 'killing machine edge' that lions normally have - because they (tigers) do not have a pride to defend. However, tigers are normally larger than lions and an unfed tiger can inflict serious mortal wounds on a lion. Otherwise, we have ligers and tions: a reminder that these animals can coexist in peace. and, at 2:58, that was actually a male tiger, not a female. note the size of the ruff of hair on that tiger, which is characteristic of males. the large mane of the lion makes him appear larger than he actually is, as well as his greater height. if you look closely, you can see a protrusion just before the tiger runs...that`s his balls.

...at 2:58, that was a powerful blow from the lion....sent the tiger reeling, in that case. while i do believe the lion has the stronger paw swipe, they are actually no stronger than tigers. this has more to do with bone density, than actual strength. also, the paw size of the lion is larger than the tiger`s, on average, adding to his force production.
