    212-579-0689 (m-f 9am to 12noon and 1pm to 3pm)

  • I have an original copy of this album in vg+ i paid $45 for it

  • what the cheap reissue? you got conned

  • NO its not a reissue its the original from 1957. What made you think that it is a reissue?

  • the price sounds to cheap to be an original

  • The cover had some seam splittineg but i fixed them

  • its most probs the 1970 pakistan issue

  • Its the original american one. They did want more 4 it the price was $49.99 or best offer. The label on the lp is RCA and it has long 33 play on the bottom.

  • i have that album in mint condition

  • Depending on who you ask, that is impossible.

Many people, like me, believe that no record can ever actually be "mint" condition, by virtue of the nature of vinyl (its perfection in its imperfection, if you will)/

Factory sealed records to many people are STILL only near-mint because of this.

    Odd.. eh?

Also, about this video, like all of hers, she NEVER gets to the point VS the description. :(

  • True, Ive open sealed LPs with scuffs already from the factory. also some people should keep in mind to clean all vinyl even if just opened, old stock or new.

  • Exactly what Danyelli said, not all sealed records are perfect. Collectors who grade no higher then NM, are arguably correct. Sealed copies are an artifact, of the fact they are sealed. The value to me is in the sealed cover, what we CAN see is in fact mint. I describe a "mint" LP as "unplayed". Seasoned collectors, and especially audiophiles can tell when a record is unplayed. In addition such an unplayed record may be played on high end gear dozens of plays and remain "unplayed" condition.

  • Unless your a hardcore vinyl guy to most people it doesnt really bother them.I can understand the whole viewpoint but if its sealed then imo its MINT

  • Yeah, but if you get into buying or selling them, you have to flow with the market nomenclature. Then again, if you bother to buy or sell the things nowadays, you are far beyond "most people" and there level of interest in vinyl.

Regardless, you have a very valid point in the end. :D

  • im a big record collector and i have hundreds of sealed items and its true some dont believe that a prestine record in original shrink is true mint. These are the same people that spend $4000+ for a set of speakers and $2000+ for a cartridge lol. They argue amongst each other regarding mono and stereo pressings

  • Oh god, THOSE people. Haha.

I just go from the viewpoint that nothing can be perfect, but if Mint is to be used, yes, a sealed record in as good as possible condition could be considered mint depending on the person..

Eh, the complexities of terminology: in the end, it's sealed, its in good shape, it's worth alot (hopefully). By the time the day is done, isn't that all that matters? :)

  • very good!!!!
